You don't think it would be absolutely strange for a dev team to completely swap Game engines in a series...?BLunted wrote...

Considering they are essentially rebooting the franchise with the sequel, not really...

But UE3 doesn't seem like a good choice for a game such as DA2.

I am a bit disappointed in DAO with respect to how limited the adventure zone sizes are and I am wondering how well it will handle the increased animations and player response without further limiting the area of play. I can see them wanting to get more out of all that cost associated with making an engine from scratch, but it really is rather mediocre. It does play better these days over release state but will they be able to jazz it up that much and keep performance?

If you have the hardware to run it. Lots of games coming out next year that will leave older computers in the dust. Be prepared to shell out money to keep up.
