i just bought the overlord pack and I cannot play it. i could not find a solution anywhere.

My OS is windows 7 pro 64 bit.

here is the error.

I have attempted to use the /NCRC switch with no success, the installation fails in seconds.

I have also redownloaded this several times so please do NOT tell me my download is faulty...

I have a simular problem, sometimes the installer just gets to 100% and then this message shows up, sometimes nothing happens at all.

Same problem.I tried dowloading twice with no luck.My connection is so slow it takes 10+ hours and then this.

I have purchased Overlord today and have tried to load it twice but get the same message.

I am not using steam.

My OS is Vista 32bit

I just down loaded Overlord Pack from BioWare and cannot find it on my PC. Any suggestioned?

I have no clue what's going on with this DLC. I just bought it and first it's only downloading at 50 - 100kbs which is incredibly slow. Then, on top of that, the download doesn't finish, it stops before it gets to 100% then I get that same error message. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or know of an alternate site I can download this at?

I got mine to install by right clicking the Overload install file and selecting Troubleshoot Compatability. I went through that process and it finished the install no problem. I did everything stated above and that is the only thing that worked.

I have no idea how to tell in game if it actually worked or not lol.

I installed it many times. But I can actually get to the system with the planet that starts the mission. When I try to land, It freezes every time. I have the steam version. Many others have this problem. If Bioware doesn't fix this I'm not taking the chance on getting shadow broker.

Overlord Pack für 560 Punkte am 24.9.10 gekauft und ca. 1 GB runtergeladen. Installation nicht möglich, weil ich W7 64 bit habe. Download soll nur für 32-bit Version gedacht sein, fühle mich betrogen. Dann wollte ich eine Mail an den Service absetzen, war totz mehrmaligem Versuch nicht möglich. Vielleicht nimmt Bioware dies einmal zur Kenntnis und tut etwas!

Nachtrag zu letztem Beitrag, nach 3. Versuch gelang die Installation endlich, Installation also doch möglich aber unkomfortabel, mal sehen ob Mission auch spielbar.

Nachtrag: Overlord komplett durchgespielt und bin beeindruckt, Story sehr gut aber Ausschalten der geschützten Gethkanone war sehr schwer und ohne Anschauen des Walkthrough bei Youtube für mich nicht machbar, hat sich aber insgesamt gelohnt!

I just downloaded Overlord 3 times over a hard wired connection.
Using both IE8 and Google chrome browsers.
The file was exactly the same length in all 3 cases.
And I get the same NSIS message as shown above.

Is there a solution or did I just waste my money?
(no solution in this thread and no recent activity)
PS. I have downloaded and installed 9 other DLCs using the same methods and they all installed fine after I got off a wireless connection.

What size is the file? Right click on it, select properties, and check out its physical size, it should be 1,098,538,870 bytes.
