This for people who would still like to see if we could give Bioware a little creative juice when it comes to some decision making on the New game. I'm going to put in my word just because I would like to try. I would like to and maybe give you guys some ideas for some companions for Hawke's squad.

Heres a couple I would like to for you to still look at before finish the story and game.

I think it would be interesting if you could put in a character who actually a darkspawn who could talk. Kind of like legion who was a geth, but we learned more about him. It would be interesting to see a darkspawn who wasn't evil and trying to kill us. We could learn more about the taint and maybe more about what involved the warden this way and what is truly happening to him or could if the Warden lives on.

What kind of companions would you like to meet or see in the game. Now this isn't a garantee of course were going to see this characters in the game, but its something ponder and debate about.

I would also like to see another kunary in the squad. I really enjoy sten. He was always one of my favorites as well. Plus it would be intersesting to learn more about the Kune in the game.

Also give explanation to why would want this kind of companion in the game. GIve some detail don't just give some random name. Thank you. Posted Image

Please keep this clean. Thanks!Posted ImagePosted Image

I don't like the idea of a Darkspawn team mate, seen as this isn't too do with the Blight I would like not to have to fight them every 10 mins Posted Image

But personally I will most likly like any character Bioware can give, so long as they chracters have layers and are interesting... Well maybe could do without Sten this time he was a bit of a dick Posted Image

A romance option voiced by Grey DeLisle. Preferably one that involved fire, lightning and S&M fantasies.

A rival. Someone strong-willed who isn't necessarily evil or always wrong even, who won't automatically defer to you like everyone (except Sten on one occasion) did in DA:O.

A Mhairi-like female. Sort of a girl version of Alistair. Good-natured and relatively "normal." (Don't get me wrong, I love Leliana, but she's a bit...well you know.)

Some more "evilish" members. It's hard to say anyone on your DA:O team was on the evil alignment side. I'm thinking something along the lines of a maleficar team mate that has no qualms about doing horribly evil things...and maybe sing about it.

I like characters that stand out. How about a one-armed warrior, or a mage who sets everyone on fire when he sneezes, or the world's tallest dwarf?

A toll collector that wont let you pass a bridge.

Because it is the only companion bioware has not given us.

It's would be fun to see 2 companions starting to brawl in the street because they hate each other.Than you have to intervene because you're the boss and the best ... and a walking deity ..

i don't know about the walking deity part, but if you character had certain charm points to help make the fight happen or to make the fight stop would be cool.

Okay, I dislike Velanna tremendously and wouldn't let her become a Warden last time I layed through.  Why can't we have more characters like Anders and Sigrun (I'm sure I spelled her name wrong) who are entertaining and more likeable?  I like rogues and mages best because of the ability to use the animals with the rogue (and in DA:O if you run your main character as a Ranger and then give the skill to Lelianna & Zevran, you can run up to 7 characters at a time!

I also like mages because, let's face it, they are the most powerful.  If I'm running a Rogue, I put Morrigan up front so she can confuse and cone-of-cold the baddies, or sleep a whole room full, and the party goes in and picks them off one at at time.

There's a character archetype that BioWare has used frequently in games past.  A seasoned, hardened warrior who's seen plenty of war and has plenty of stories to tell (even if not always willing to).  Some examples would be the Canderous Ordo in Kotor 1, he again in Kotor II, the Black Whirlwind in Jade Empire, and Wrex in Mass Effect 1.

When present, the character in question is usually an underdeveloped and bland character (of the four above, Wrex stands alone as the primary exception), but could fit in to Thedas well as a former Gray Warden, or, moving further from the Blight, an older Orlesian soldier who fought against Ferelden.

Nothing like getting burned by Azula   Though personally, since I plan on playing a FemHawke (which STILL sounds like a porn star no matter how often I say it), I'd rather have Grey DeLisle voice the PC.

I want an animal companion again.  I loved the Dog in DA:O, and I missed him so much in DA:A.  Either that, or Schmooples or a space hamster.

I'd also like a legitimate bad boy for once, BioWare, for the ladies.  The guys get fem fatalles all the time: Morrigan, Miranda, Viconia...  Not that I don't like nice sweet guys and happy functional relationships, but RPGs are for fantasies, and I want me some bad boys.  Bad boys a la NWN2's Bishop, Atton Rand, Ozai, and Sawyer.

Not sure about the fire and lightning, but I'll second the rest.

A female that is romanceable, but not easy, complicated, ****y if need be and most importantly not crumbling at some point to reveal herself as lonely and vulnerable under the tough exterior and just wanting to be held. Unlike Viconia, Ashley, Morrigan, Jack, Miranda or apparently every other non-pliable female RI ever introduced by Bioware. I love Tali and Leiliana, but they're pretty much your fangirls from the start. Have an alternative. Assume the player character is smart and confident and make the RI their equal in that regard.

Yes, I realize the ladies have it harder. Alistair is useless and before that they had Anomen with his unshakable wife beater vibe... oh, and some dark-haired boys with troubled pasts and forlorn expressions.

But this is about what I want. I want someone like Morrigan, personality-wise, who is however portrayed as being and remaining just as confident, strong and smart as the main PC. Someone my character could consider a partner as opposed to a weight attached to his leg. If this means making them just as powerful or integral to the story, then so be it.

Let's see...

A lawless dwarf on the verge of being cast out.
An anti-social witch who is a proponent of extreme Darwinism.
A spy.
An assassin.
A soldier from a foreign country who's slaughtered an entire household of innocents in a rage.

Mind you, I like them all, but then I don't buy into the idea of a set definition of good or evil. But by common social standards, none of them are anywhere near the good side of things.

Basically what your saying is you would like a character like Sten for the ladies to be romancible I'm taking?

I want a cute, capable, smart girl who takes charge of the relationship. I don't think Bioware have done one of those yet. Usually if they wear the pants in the relationship they're made sexy rather than cute.

OK, maybe Ozai was a bit of an extreme example.  He was kind of--no, a completely--evil and horrible person.  But he was also shirtless during the finale, and a spectacular villain :innocent:

But you get the picture.  I WANT BADA** BAD BOYS DANGNABBIT.  And I'd take Ozai over Carth, Kaidan, Thane, Anomen, or Sky any day.

First i'd love to see companions that are more selfsufficient. For example companions that do part for a while with the main character but later return. There could be a lot of reason for their temporary department like disagreement or worry for the maincharacter. Final Fantasy 9 did those kidn of partings pretty well although you could follow the story through the other character's perspective which is different to this game where you stick with one perspective.

Second i like to see a romance that doesnt end in the sex scene that has rather became boring.

I should continue even after that, but hopefully not in the form of lame love talk, well i dont know how to put it... Anyway i have trust in the skill of Bioware's dialogue writers.

Think the end of replacement killers. That was a great romance ending. Where as he leaves he touches her cheek and smiles and she embraces his hand staring into his eyes. I love that freaking movie.
