I was just wondering, there is a lot of whining going on right now since they released a little info about DA2 but is there a chance they will listen?
Do fans listen to their BioWare?

Yeah seriously. We've been working on the game for the last year. What have they done?

We do listen we just often do not like what we are hearing.

This whole topic of discussion is pointless.
But the title of this thread is nevertheless hilarious.

He speaks the truth. Just check out all those Mass Effect suggestion threads. We are way many therefore we can come up with more awesome ideas than them.

You cant expect us to trust that every design choice Bioware makes is going to be a winner, if we hear something we do not like we will express our concerns. Sure some of our concerns may be unfounded but regarding some of the changes they are making to Dragon Age we have already seen them in action in Mass Effect and if we diddnt like how they were implemented in Mass Effect then why would we think they would be great in Dragon Age? I am sure that Bioware will probably be making improvements to these design choices and perhaps implementing them different to how they were in Mass Effect but you cant expect us to sit back like blind thralls and assume that Bioware knows best and everything they do is awesome.
Not everything that comes out of Bioware's arse is a nugget of gold and not every design choice they make is in the best interests of all of their fans.

But how many concerns can we rightly have about 3 days worth of information? At this stage, we virtually know nothing. And yet there are cries of ruined forever already.
I for one am in the wait and see camp. Mass Effect 2 was the only real disappointment BioWare's handed me. But that's not the team working on DA2. So it's not fair to hold that game up in comparision. Maybe I'll be proven wrong. Or maybe the naysayers will. But at this point it's just too early tell.

We know the name
We know how many years the game spans
We know The dialogue presentation
We know there are no origins/playable races/backgrounds beyond the 1
we know more.
You can release the strategy guide on day one and we can know everything on day 1.

Oh I am not crying ruined quite yet however so far I dont like what I have heard and I will voice my concerns. From what I have heard Dragon Age 2 is trying to emulate Mass Effect (my least favorite Bioware game) and this would have had to rate among my worst fears for the franchise, everything I diddnt like about the Mass Effect games is being brought over to Dragon Age which is what I really hoped wouldnt happen.
I am willing to give Bioware a chance and wait till I see more of the game before I pass judgement, but from what I have heard so far things dont look so promising.
