This is my end result when I was able to get the DLC:








As you can see, the main character (Leliana) I am controlling appears to be a default bald human female. Also, she appears to be "invisible" in cutscenes as well. Refer to the screen shot when Marjolaine tackled her. It makes the overall experience unsatisfying for me.

Anything else you need to know? This is for the PC version running in XP with the 1.03 patch installed.

have you tried changing you games video settings? And Leliana looks like she might be Brittney Spears XD..

Not to argue but it cannot be a video issue since my controlling character is also bugged. Was my download bugged in any way?

i think not, try reinstalling the dlc, i didnt have that problem i played almost all the dlc except warden keep that is not showing on the map. XD

Reinstalled it for five times and still the same result! There has to be something within the files...

Have you tried disabling/removing any custom mods you may have installed, things like hair mods... etc?

No hair and face mods installed. Disabled all non-BioWare mods and it still gives the same result. Note that my weapon mods are only designed for Origins.

I don't have Awakening installed because I don't have it.

Have you tried a complete uninstall of the game, then reinstall just the official content? I know it's a little drastic but it maybe worth a shot.

If you do just remember to backup your characters in your My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age folder.. you wouldn't want to lose them.

I'll get back to you on that on the weekend. I've got a lot of official DLC here (Stone Prisoner, Return to Ostagar, Soldier's Peak, Darkspawn Chronicles, Feastday Gift and Pranks, Leliana's Song).

Before I forget, I'm running on 1.03 and I have the Toolset installed.

Right now, I am scared to uninstall the game because of the machinima I'm making using the toolset. Uninstalling may potentially erase the data I need for the toolset.



Anything to ease my mind before I go through with the uninstallation?

I have the exactly the same problem and I have Awakenings as well.

Updated to 1.03 and tried to reinstall the game but still doesn't work.

No custom mods, all official Bioware dlcs.

Don't want to play it while this bug still is in there.

Please help

Still encountering the problem after reinstalling the whole game and even waiting to download the DLC via the game itself.

Installed properly but the same output as described in the first post still exists.

If I have to list my DLCs, here you go:

Blood Dragon Armor
Stone Prisoner
Warden's Keep
Return to Ostagar
Feastday Gifts and Pranks
The Lucky Stone
Embri's Many Pockets
Amulet of the War Mage
Helm of the Deep

Running on Windows XP SP3
Patch 1.03 installed

All 3rd Party mods not reinstalled.

EDIT: EA Customer Support is not helpful at this point. I do hope when patch 1.04 it'll resolve things.

I have a similar problem, Leliana and the mage character seem to have no heads...

Same problem, just...reversed. With Leliana's song turned on, my main character in origins is perfectly fine, just has the head of Leliana. No clue how to fix it either =/

Tried the following:

Applying the 1.04 patch = NO CHANGE
Removed all my characters and kept the Characters folder empty = NO CHANGE
Disabled ALL DLCs except Leliana's Song = NO CHANGE

Don't tell me I owned a bugged copy of the from the start!

Everything was smooth sailing for everything I've had unti this!

Super Important Update:

I decided to play this bugged DLC and when I was at the part I was going to plant the papers inside the bedroom, the game just crashes!!!

I shall see if I can grab some software to record the whole ordeal as proof that my DLC is bugged, no matter what the happy fans say about enjoying this DLC.
