Did you try updating your graphics drivers? You've also not said how you obtained DA:O (Steam, Direct2Drive, EA Store, Retail etc), nor if you've fully patched it.

There's just no one around with an answer.  Multiple bumps isn't going to help at all.  This is Gamer to Gamer here, not anything official.  For that, go to the EA support site.  Summer is the ebb tide on forums like this one.  Few readers are in attendance this season, and weekends are still worse.  Your odds of getting a useful answer are very poor.

Your chances are much, much better using the Search, especially pointing Google back into the forums here.

There is also no active moderation that I am aware of, but bumping at a shorter interval than 6-8 hours is frowned upon most anywhere that actual moderation is being done.

P. S.  I see that you have ignored the standard problem reporting procedures.  You can enhance your odds for an answer to some extent by following the guidelines.

Including adequate information in a problem report, DA O:

Just a thought, it looks like your overclocking your processor. Try setting it back to standard and see if that works.

Erm... Nope. Firstly, overclockable laptops are rare, and secondly there's no way you could get 4.40GHz stable in that environment. It likely wouldn't boot at even 3GHz with the amount of heat it'd put out.

It looks like the poster has added the speed of both cores together, so I suspect we're dealing with 2 x 2.20GHz cores - i.e. no overclocking.

@Koglin9; did it report 4048MB RAM or 4400MB? I'm guessing it was 4048MB?

That's 2.0GB then, so you have an adequate amount. When you run a dxdiag, what date does it give for your audio drivers? Updating them often solves a lot of random problems.

I'm not sure it would solve the problem, which is why I'm hesitant to recommend updating them. That and Sigmatel were absorbed by another company so finding drivers could be problematic.

As a thought, do you have problems with any other games?

And acouple others.
