In awakening your personal blacksmith was able to craft the warriors helping defend silver armor and then laterr on they became known as the silver knights. Will they make a cameo or play a role in DA2?

OUCH!

It would be a nice touch, although the Silver Knights only formed if you made the Silverite Armor.

I sure as hell hope not. I don't want to spend most of Dragon Age 2 being reminded of how much better the Warden is than Hawke.

"Did you hear about that Grey Warden who not only gathered an army of Dwarves, Elves, and Mages but killed the bloody Archdemon himself?"

"Hear he is a native of Ferelden he is"

"Hey didn't you come from there Hawke?"

"Might have been drinking it up with a real hero back then and not even know it."

OK... What exactly did people hate about awakening so much? I would really like a list please :)

We probably wont get too many refrences and camoes from Awakenings characters, but it did happen, and I'm sure we will here about a warden saving Ameranthine, and talking Darkspawn roaming the lands.

A cameo from The Messenger would be pretty badass though.

He needs to be a companion.

Most people just hate the bugs (God damn there were lots)

The party (no romances, short and pretty bland dialogue)

And the ending (Warden stabs The Mother in the face, fade to black, depressing ending implied)

The bugs have nothing to do with the story... Which is what I thought was relevant to the conversation at hand...

No romances in the party... Short... Maybe more bland dailogue... All good examples of what to expect from an expansion...

I do admit, I would have liked a little better resolution in the ending... But I don't know how I would have ended a story like that... And then again, it is only an expansion... I don't believe it was ever trying to be anything morel, but trying to be basically a really long story driven DLC, which is basically what an expansion is.

I think people were just upset that they didn't really continue anything relevant to Origins game, as far as characters and plot points go, awakening was an entirely new adventure... Which is also what people are complaining about DA2... I think it did have a hard time balancing being an expansion and being a new story... But I still thought it was a good expansion to the game.
