Sorry you feel that way. We appreciate your loyalty and understanding, as well as the fact that you stuck it out long enough to get more than a cursory view of the game before rendering your decision. Hopefully you'll give the game a try when it comes out-- if not, happy trails!

I base my greivances on the fact that Mass Effect was a boring, easy, uninspiring slog thru a tired and easily manipulatated dialogue and combat system.

If you think for a SECOND that I'm not basing my bashing of this game on real world experience, your wrong David.

I cannot stand to play ME for more than 2 hours at the time, while I could play DA:O for days on end.  All of the problems I have with DA2 are present in ME 1 and 2, and are being moved into DA2 like it is some kind of step forward. I can base every arguement against DA2 I make in cold, hard fact, based on my extensive experience with Bioware's game library.  I have hundredds of hours in ME and DA with which to draw these comparisons.

You guys have lost touch.

Sex outside of marriage is okay, long as it is not with a married adult. It's somewhere in the Bible, something about a better to have your seed in the belly of a **** than on the ground...or something along those lines.

Did you just come back into the room after making your dramatic exit?

You were standing right outside, waiting, weren't you?

Gosh, that is so embarassing.

i think all that needs to be said is if you can import a ultimate sacrifice warden, because then it would answer a few questions

Actually, I didn't expect a Bioware employee to answer my post.

It's called taking advantage of an opportinuty.

But, understandably, you guys at Bioware seem to be recently getting into the business of squandering opportunity, not striving to make it work for you. I can, therefore, see why you'd think I would waste this chance to talk to someone with any actual input into the games outcome.

I agree whole heartedly OP (well except I do like ME). But we're the minority... I guess the challenge of integrating multiple endings was too much. Still I had hoped... oh well. I guess I let those end slides get my hopes up. I'm really going to miss my wardens. I can't be the only one who would have really liked to be the warden that stopped the blights forever. Crazy I guess, but I was hoping to go to crazy epic places.

I loved being able to create and roleplay my own character. The character didn't need a voice because it had mine. The voice I created could be anything. I'd have been okay with giving up my warden if I could have at least had that. When I hear a voiced character, it's like I'm watching a character I can ocassionally nudge, but it doesnt' feel like me.

But almost everyone else seems to be happy for the ME style gamelpay. Heh, the forums are making me sad too. :(

Thought you were leaving? I guess not, WELCOME BACK!

You're saying DA2 is bad because you thought ME was bad? Well then I have some great news for you. It turns out ME is a space-based RPG Shooter, while DA2 is a fantasy-based tactical RPG. And they have completely different teams working on them! Woot!

Seriously, though, your arguments are utterly illogical. It's like saying you hate pomegranates even though you've never had one, because you hate bananas. So people think you're insane because pomegranates are only nominally similar. Then you claim you're dealing in facts because you KNOW bananas, dammit. You're like an expert on bananas. Well no one cares about what you think about bananas, because you can't explain why a pomegranate is like one.

So we get it. You hate Mass Effect. That doesn't explain why having text in a circle instead of a list is going to mean the game sucks. Most of the things we DO know about DA2 are so vague (like "new visual style" and "new cinematic experience") that there's no way anyone can reasonably claim they have even the remotest grasp of how the game as a whole is going to feel. So that's why some of the more level-headed members of the community are urging you to wait a little bit and see what it's ACTUALLY like first.

I mean, if they did such a great job on DA:O, why can't you give them the benefit of the doubt? Surely they've proven they're good at making games? They got this. Chill.

Surely Mass Age: Mike Hawk is a better title?

I gotta admit, despite anticipating both those puns it never dawned on me to put them together.  Well done.

This - although I think there are lots of people who should keep their hair on and have a little trust in the fact that BioWare *might* just know what their doing.  If you hate it after you've played it - all well and good, but to go into orbit at this stage is... silly.

*I'm* excited.  MOAR Dragon Age.  Win!
