Sorry you feel that way. We appreciate your loyalty and understanding, as well as the fact that you stuck it out long enough to get more than a cursory view of the game before rendering your decision. Hopefully you'll give the game a try when it comes out-- if not, happy trails!

I base my greivances on the fact that Mass Effect was a boring, easy, uninspiring slog thru a tired and easily manipulatated dialogue and combat system.
If you think for a SECOND that I'm not basing my bashing of this game on real world experience, your wrong David.
I cannot stand to play ME for more than 2 hours at the time, while I could play DA:O for days on end. All of the problems I have with DA2 are present in ME 1 and 2, and are being moved into DA2 like it is some kind of step forward.
You guys have lost touch.

Mr. Gaider, now that you're here, would you mind telling us if the Dark Ritual ending of Origins has indeed been canonized? 'Tis a matter a great many users would appreciate being cleared up.

Did you just come back into the room after making your dramatic exit?
You were standing right outside, waiting, weren't you?
Gosh, that is so embarassing.

That sounds like something you'd need to ask the Vatican.

Seriously, though, your arguments are utterly illogical. It's like saying you hate pomegranates even though you've never had one, because you hate bananas. So people think you're insane because pomegranates are only nominally similar. Then you claim you're dealing in facts because you KNOW bananas, dammit. You're like an expert on bananas. Well no one cares about what you think about bananas, because you can't explain why a pomegranate is like one.

Why does everyone keep calling it Dragon Effect?
Surely Mass Age: Mike Hawk is a better title?

To be or not to be
Whether 'tis nobler in the RPG to suffer
The slings and arrows of developer whims
Or to take arms against a wheel of dialogue
And, by opposing, play not.

I gotta admit, despite anticipating both those puns it never dawned on me to put them together. Well done.MFCell wrote...

The implications of this are quite grave, my friends: the trolls have mastered time travel.

You're saying DA2 is bad because you thought ME was bad? Well then I have some great news for you. It turns out ME is a space-based RPG Shooter, while DA2 is a fantasy-based tactical RPG. And they have completely different teams working on them! Woot!
So we get it. You hate Mass Effect. That doesn't explain why having text in a circle instead of a list is going to mean the game sucks. Most of the things we DO know about DA2 are so vague (like "new visual style" and "new cinematic experience") that there's no way anyone can reasonably claim they have even the remotest grasp of how the game as a whole is going to feel. So that's why some of the more level-headed members of the community are urging you to wait a little bit and see what it's ACTUALLY like first.
I mean, if they did such a great job on DA:O, why can't you give them the benefit of the doubt? Surely they've proven they're good at making games? They got this. Chill.
