The last one (in Ozrammar) blew up on me.

Will the quest still finish properly?
The quest description says "if I'm satisfied" I can go back and report.

Is there a way to do better?

Not to worry i had the same thing happen to me and it turned out fine.

By satisfied it means are you comfortable setting traps that will kill the intended target.

You can go back after you set the trap in Frostback and disarm all the others you put down. That would be the ethical route I suppose.
