My Fears for DA 2:

  Voice for the PC - Seriously i hope everyone complains enough about this that bioware has no choice but to cut it from the game. Even though i like Jennifer Hale (Voice actor for female Shepherd) , her voice was terrible and completely different from how my character looked and how i imagined she would sound in my mind. And i prefer DA:O's dialogue system to the dialogue wheel.

  Hawke instead of character import - I don't want to play as a new character, i want to keep my Grey warden, i invested many feelings and emotions into the choices of DA:O and don't want to see it go to waste with a new bloody character in a different country and time. (seriously, my character is smoking, see my avatar, lol)

My Hopes for DA 2:

  Everything stays the same - Of coarse i want little improvements here and there, but i certainly dont want the series to be ME 2'd. I was highly looking forward to DA 2 until i learned of these new changes and i hope the series will not be ruined.
 
  Recurring Characters - I want at least some of my original party members to be in my DA 2 party, especially Morrigan and Allistair. But sadly, i dont think this will happen.

Thats my opinion, please give yours, i want to know the hopes and fears of the rest of you.

since a good amount of the stuff I've read, so far, has disappointed me, I'm hoping that DA2 will have a feature that would make it an 'instant'/'no hesitation' buy for me:

an integrated grand strategy system (number crunching FTW!) and real-time tactical combat elements w/ your own troops.

what? it's about a man's 'rise to power', right? wouldn't having a real (as opposed to the dialogue selection form of 'strategy', as in NWN2 or DA:O where you 'build up' your forces by donating stuff) grand strategy and tactical elements be better?

think HoI2 or 3 w/ real-time elements ala WiC or ToW, but set in Ferelden.
