a lot of people have found that setting core affinity to the 2nd core will help performance with AMD multicore processors... what are the actual system specs?

How long does it take before load times reach that long?
I have a Core duo as well and thanks to the memory leak loading steadily increases until it can take multiple minutes loading between areas. Orzammar is by far the worst 4-5 area transitions and the load times start getting dodgy.
A way to get around this is to save and restart game from windows. If it takes that long to load from the moment you start game well.... bugger.

Setting the core affinity dramatically slows the leakage... single core users can experience no slow-down until 10+ hours of constant play, I played all the way through the entire Ozrammar experience in one sitting without ever restarting or seeing a load time over 30 seconds
