So here's the deal. I'm doing my thing in the woods where the Dalish elves live (forget the name) and I'm inside the ruins. Somehow I managed to get into a room in which I fought off some enemies. It's the room with the Juggernaut armor, at the northeast of the map of the lower level. I saved once I finished fighting the enemies, only to discover that the only door leading out is locked.

Am I completely screwed, or is there something I missed?

A lesson I learned the hard way many years ago. Multiple save files. But I'm sure you just missed something, keep looking with a fine toothed comb.

there is an underwater way somewhere on the juggernaut and arcane warrior quest level. You can use it to travel to werewolf lair. It's shown on your map when you are close enough.

So there should be some other exit? Hmm, I'll have to look for this then, hopefully all is not lost. >.>

The game keeps multiple Autosaves. Are you sure one of them isn't before the bugged section?

You can see those by choosing "load game" instead of resume. ^_^

You should definatly be able to get through to the lair. Press "M" (I'm sure you know this by now) and make sure you have explored everywhere, every side room, the passage will be shown on your map if you have been near it. You might not see it at first simply exploring, I missed it, but the map reveals all =)

Gamer's nowadays just need to l2p, and are doing it wrong to boot.

Imagine today's gamer trying to puzzle out Ultima 3, or even Legend

of Zelda 1.

Nope, still haven't found this exit. The room's a large hall, with the only visible exit the door on the south wall. Which is locked. If anyone knows of another exit, could you give me a location?

remember the giant room with a thousand traps? it was past that. just go back to that room and until the path ends. there is a puddle you dive into. look for it on the map or hold down tab

I was solving legend of Zelda puzzles ever since I was 4,  I think another good example would be N64 Ocarina of time, try solving the Water Temple, without any guides..... you  might want to get ready to bang your head against a wall a few times.

Keep looking for the entrance, it is easy to miss, but like someone else said, there is an underwater entry to the lair, its shaped like a square, if you cannot find it, then you do not need to be playing DA: O. Get  your money back and say there is issues with the game, or grow some gaming brains, as ironic as that sounds, and find the entrance!!

Look, I think it's a glitch or something. It's the Lower Ruins, and I'm in the hall at the northeast of the map. There's only one exit to the room, and it's on the south wall. I didn't even walk through the door, and it's locked. Is the puddle in this room? Cause the problem is I'm stuck here in the room and can't go anywhere else.

Well, the 20 hours is only wasted if you didn't have any fun doing it. Amirite?

The puddle's a little while away, you're stuck in the room, haha. I'm laughing with you; you'll get out, whether it be through the editor or a patch fix, but you're going to have to be patient if you're waiting for a patch. Maybe a years worth of patience. D:

When ever I go to a new area I save it with what ever name the game gives it. Then I make another save and sometimes two or three more that I use as I play the game that way it is never that far to go back. So when I finish a quest area I usually have at least three save points and quite often many more then that.

It's a real shame it takes something like this to make you learn to have multiple saves instead of just one master save and the auto save. I'm not familiar with the console versions, but the PC version has 4 auto save slots...and there is no way you can have all 4 filled up in this one place.

Can you be a bit more discriptive than 'the hall?'
