Breathe....breathe...breathe....

Yes we all probably had the same reaction when we saw what was happening, but after thinking it through I realized that this game won't be a bad thing.

My only concern is that I hope it will be still relevant to Origins.

There is no enjoyment in calm around here. Unless it's before the storm.

Yeah yesterday I was completely up in arms. Today I'm a little more relaxed. My main concern is still having DA:O be relevant, but I'm finding ways that the dialogue wheel could work (if they implement it correctly).

Eh. I haven't played a Bioware game I didn't like (Thought some I liked less then others) So I'm totally going to just wait and see.

Yup, that's my main concern too, if there is connection, I'm not gonna complain at all, cause it all sounds promising.

It would be even more bonus if the US ending got into too.

Even if the game was just like Origins, people would still be whining.

Nice set of fans you got here BioWare.

Stop with the mindless "whining" accusations.

People have a right to voice their concerns, many of us oldtimers like fantasy games and since Bioware made a big deal about DA was the spiritual successor of BG I would say it makes sense to complain about being stuck as one character.

Also I see most of the people not wanting people to "whine" are people that have ME, so they obviously would like something like this one-dimensional garbage.

It's more a matter of keeping perspective, the devs work hard and put in a lot of hours, they deserve a little more respect than has been flying around here, especially if you enjoyed games they have done before.  Believe me I'm dissapointed too, I hate ME's dialogue system, VA and dialogue wheel both, I found them annoying to the point of not being able to finish either game.   I'm willing to wait untill I can demo DA2 and judge it on it's own merits though.

Perspective friends, along the theme of calming down, I submit for your approval

I'm personally confident that DA2 will be a good game. Only thing I'm upset about is not getting to play as an elf, but that's a small thing.

small correction..you mean ME2...

ME1 was a great start...but instead of FIXING what didn't quite work and/or was clumsy/clunky and EXPANDING on it...they STRIPPED it out entirely (and as a side note I find it hilarious the "defenders" claim it's "streamlining"...idiotic)...turning the ME series into Gears of Mass Effect War: Choose your own Shepard Adventure.

but otherwise...yep..this exactly...

because even with what little we DO know..it certainly is aweful similar to when ME2's "enhancements" were being released....

Unintelligent was coming into this thread claiming that the thread was made to bash whiners, which it wasn't. But when a whiner came in here...to whine...well I had to take my shot.

I'm a little less angry about it today, quite looking forward to seeing how they structure the game narratively, and I'm eager to see the new art style a bit more.
