pro :
bioware game (include : amazing voice acting, very nice story, amazing lore, funny characters, huge amount of "social" options with your companions, nice music, very artistic place...)

con :
-no good/bad repercussion (like karma in fallout, or like in BG, mass effect...)
-some imbalance between classes
-most ends are sad. Yeah, this is not really a con, but i prefer good ending :D

I agree. At the end I felt like they stopped giving me as many choices as they did before and forced me to do things their way.  None of the endings didn't seem to fit the way my character was played. I felt like this at the end of NWN2 Mask of the betrayer aswell and in mass effect when you go to stop saren from finding a cure to the genophage because he is doing other things at the base aswell.

I loved everything about the game until the end. partly because after i beat it and it put me back in the world i didn't get a character back that left before the final fight and the dcl sounds like it will only take place before the ending not any after which would have been cool to see how the world is going change

More pros and cons

PRO

Customizing weapons

Smiths making special weapons/armor

Plenty of quests

Easy to understand combat if you played a lot of Bioware or MMO games

Highly addicting, flowing from one quest to the next is painless, no aimless wandering hoping to trigger a cutscene

Leveling is nicely paced, none of those Fallout 3 moments when you hit the level cap 30% of the way

Cons

Inventory system is intentionally GIMPED so you will buy the Warden DLC for the chest

classes are not defined well enough, shared skills is pointless

Too LOTR and not enough D&D. Elves, Dwarfs, Humans vs. "bad guys" LOTR style.. i.e. tons of the same enemy types

Too many "HAH gotcha" moments in dialogue trees.

Risk reward is broken for some unlocks like Reaver (very high risk, reward is almost nil)

Dex bug for daggers

Shapeshifter is not powerful enough to warrant being in a 4 person party, not to mention the 20 minutes it takes just to cast 1 shapeshift spell

No true cleric or paladin.

Not enough summons

Did I mention inventory is a mess? As is codex, leveling skill tree... everything about the menus screams archaic or "we designed this for people who play in 480i"

I've put in over 80 hours into the game and am close to finishing my first play through (mage).

Pros:

- Tactical party combat

- Game length (thank you Bioware! More 80 hour epics please ;))

- Difficulty

- Great companions (banter, story, etc)

- Interesting story

- The playable origin stories are great. BioWare, please do more of this in your future games.

- Soundtrack and sound effects are great.

Cons:

- Unforgivably low resolution textures on some objects/terrain. I mean REALLY bad textures.

- Some outdoor areas look uninspired with bland terrain

- Glitchy tactical camera when fighting in the city with high walls,

- I've encountered some bugs that have prevented me from progressing, forcing me to reload and try again.

Pros

Deep and immersive world – dark fantasy at its greatest. Every decision had an impact and every achievement you felt was hard fought and well deserved. I’ve read the books, but this makes it much more alive! Fereldan is awesome!

The origins worked very well! Some are proving to be weaker than others, however, but all in all an amazing idea! The concept is definitely worth considering for the sequel!

Great characters – extremely well designed and voice acting is top notch all round! Personal favourites are Alistair and Wynne, and Zevran and Leliana didn’t disappoint either. They were true friends. I have so much still to explore and I can’t wait.

Romances are very decent! It’s great that there are gay and lesbian ones too! Just a shame that Alistair and Morrigan aren’t amongst them. However, I'm not sure they deserve an 18 rating.

The music is great – I’m listening to “I am the One” and “Leliana’s Song” constantly at the moment.

A great heroic ending! Admittedly, I haven’t tried Morrigan’s solution yet.

Cons

Dalish elves under developed and their quests could have been more epic. I found it the least interesting compared with the others and, considering their history, it could have been so much more! It almost felt a waste.

The beautiful moments were mainly restricted to the characters. Whilst this worked so very well, it would have been good to have more quest/area specific moments (e.g. finding an elven secret that could profoundly impact them and seeing a profound impact). There were numerous very significant moments, but they were hardly beautiful! The ending was the only moment that I felt that beauty, sad as it was.

The 4 character restrictions – 5 or 6 would have been the more comfortable choice for me.

Directly contrary to the above – the ending! Somehow, maybe through the hardest path, it might have been good to have a happy one. Even better would have it be a last second surprise/relief.

I too was hoping for something like that if you did certain situations in a special way. It would have made my day if something like that happend at the end.
