one of the most annoying things in DAO was the endless walking everywhere. But i suspect that if its set at roughly the same time there won't be.

I doubt horses will be there to ride on to help us travel faster.
I do not doubt they may include a horse model in the game.

And Alligators that shoot laser beams out of their eyes. And don't forget the new Ninja Wizard class.
But seriously I doubt it.

I hate endless walk like oblivion or fallout...
Oblivion is a game about saving the world or a walking simulator?

I thought we already had a (wayyy less serious) thread about this topic?
And in said thread, someone mentioned the developers saying that it would take too long to get the coding for horses right.

Horses? There are no horses in Dragon Age. We ride dragons!

Now that would be cool, to ride a Dragon. Morrigan on a black dragon, cut scene. That would be cool.

Yeah it was torture walking through the massive village of Lothering, or the huge market district of Denerim, and why oh why didn't we have horses for the Deep Roads?
Exactly what endless walking are you talking about, instead of a little blood trail going across the map would you rather see hoof prints as to take away from all that walking?

Upgrade your horse and give it a trample or back kick action?

I think you misunderstand what i mean - it just seems logical that horses would be used as transport in such a setting (dragons would be cool also:devil:) I do not mean that horses are needed to ride around inside the deep roads or inside castles:(. I mean for covering the long distances and dismounting when arriving, or the odd bit of mounted combat (like mount and blade) or even a noble passing on horseback in the background on his way to the palace. Just a thing for immersion.
