I want to thank them for making DAO and also with the news of DA2, alot of us and myself, didn't want to give them a chance the first we heard of DA2. I for one am glad to see that they are making another game and we just need to give them some support and try and help in any postive way we can, I want a good game and I have faith it will be. So thank you at BioWare for working hard as you do, not a group of guys and gal out there like you.

Couldn't agree more.

Bioware aren't faultless, nobody and nothing is, but we should only be encouraging them at this moment in time and thanking them for creating what will come to be an epic series of games that provided many satisfying hours for a lot of people.

Totally agree with both of you :)

It's hard to find ppl who are actually not crying about Hawke or something like that.

We should be thankful and not making premature judgements about DA2.

So ignore the haters BioWare, and prove them wrong! :D :P

By the way, theres an intresting article about why do ppl make these judgements about the game:

I'm just a little skeptical and disappointed. The "origins" bit of, well, Origins, was my favorite thing about it.

Yea I just hope they don't **** up by going the Fable route, because I was really hoping to continue the Warden's story or at least moving the decisions you made in the first one to impact the outcomes and settings in the next one. Like who is king or queen. Thank you Bioware for making the game but don't **** it up or you will lose many loyal customers including me.

But of course. They can make any game they like. They can make it appeal broadly and make it toothless and mainstream, if they wish.

That does not change the fact, that IF what I suspect holds true, combined with what we already know, I won't be bying the game.

Protagonist VA is what prevented me playing ME as male, as I cannot stand Mark Meer's acting.
Jennifer Haley is ok, but she to makes me cringe my toes from time to time. Already this is something that gives me an unpleasant feeling in my stomach. Having to listen to someone putting a voice to MY character is simply something I abhore.

The fact that we won't be able to continue our old characters despite the fact that Bioware haven't given us an ending, does not bode well either. It gives me the feeling that it all got to complicated, so they just trash the whole concept in favour of of one male. (Yes I know he can be disguised as female, nevertheless he is obviously as male as Shepard, reducing our choices even further.)

I also fear it will be linear, and I especially fear that it'll be like ME; that the linearity means it'll be fun to play once, and then it goes standing on the shelves.

At the end of the day, if those who buy the game because of the changes are more than those who skips it because of same changes, then Bioware has it right. That dosn't mean I'm going to buy it, only that I've lost something. To bad for me, I don't expect Bioware to cater for me especially.

I like pure RPG's, and if companies like Obsidian, Bioware and Bethesda are abandoning those in favour of adventure/action games it's very sad news..... for me. If they sell more that way, there is not a damned thing to be done about it... except not buying their games anymore. So we shall see, but unless something truly groundbreaking is revealed, something that means the first game gets a proper ending, that this new game won't be a linear, polished actiongame ala ME2, it's Game Over.... for me.
