I bought mass effect and mass effect 2 both off of steam i completed a playthrough of mass effect and was excited to try importing my character. I have tried a lot of tutorials and none of them seem to work. i dont know if this question was already answered but i cant find it so please help.
How do you import your character from mass effect to mass effect 2 if i bought both of them off of steam

There is no difference between Steam or Retail version in terms of save game location. Both game save them in My Documents --> Bioware

Just open the ME2 configuration utility and locate the ME1 save file folder.

ok so im going to me2 document going to save and when i get there it doesnt hav a button that say copy mass effect saves to mass effect 2 or watever it was so wat should i do
