I remember back in the day in BG2 when your class got you a specific stronghold, usually with subquests relating to its upkeep.

Though we can't have that I'd still like to see more sub-class quests.

For instance...

Bards get to sing in a tavern or two. Triggers a quest of some sort.
A ranger while walking throught the wood hears the cry of (I dunno) a bunny that triggers a quest
A duelist recieves a challenge by another duelist by messenger.

I just feel the subclasses never had much oomph to them. And hell, some were wholeheartedly avoided all together by a lot of players. Shapeshifter anyone? Maybe giving them some unique quests would make them more tempting. And I know your party members might have those sublasses but this isn't about them! To hell with them! :P

Yeah, I think having your class mentioned all the time by people may sound a little clunky so actually usng your class skills to trigger recognition of it might make more sense.

Anyone got ideas on more types of quests? Even for classes already mentioned?

I support this. Or something similar. The expansions to NWN are a good example of how well this can work, it's fluff true, but it's fun fluff.
