I find it totally understandable that they don't want to show any nudity, but please, do it properly or don't do it, no more awkward sex scenes, just leave it to our imagination

IMO BioWare should either use camera tricks of ME1 during love scenes (i.e. full nudity but without showing anything, actually I wouldn't mind full nudity but it would probably cost them an AO rating which is bad for bu$ine$$), or remove the scenes altogether.

If you want nudity in video games just play God of War 3. I respect Bioware for making a dark adult game and not overdoing it. Porn is for the internet.
I'm sorry, but I think you misunderstand the intention of this thread. Nobody wants porn. In fact, most people here vote for leaving an explicit scene out of the game - because of the perception it was not well done in DA:O.
And I wholeheartedly agree. Please BW, no more ridiculous scenes where people are suppost to make love, while wearing grandma-style underwear. If you don't want to do some hide-and-seek with camera angles, just don't do it at all. Leave it to the audiance's imagination, but don't embarass us with making a moment that is supposed to have deep emotions look like something that is shown at an undergrade sex-education class.

Now now, according to Greg that's the underwear people wore back in the day and of course it's silly to complain about "Renaissance style underwear" in a game with such a setting.
Obviously Greg's doctrine isn't in history.

Well that's a silly thing to claim but you wouldn't want historically accurate underwear, really.

Yes, though I suppose the nightgown-like chemise counts as underwear since it was the innermost layer of clothing. You think granny panties are bad just imagine granny nightgowns.

Not if I had to watch my characters get busy in it no, not even sure how that would work.

Peasents did, wealthier folks had a variety of things they'd use as undergarments. None of which looked like what we saw obviously.

I'm thinking it would fit better in ME3. Garrus pretty much had the music part down, after all. Also that's probably how his little rematch went down.

Haha. I was totally shocked that the tutorial made you take off your armour. They could have made you just take of boots or a ring to learn how to unequip - and then let you figure out taking off clothes for yourself - but it seemed as if they wanted to show off the underwear. (I was shocked because I was expecting some kind of paper doll pantaloon."
