Oh gawd no!

Im currently playing with the full nudity patch and it looks stupid! Beyond stupid!
Topless nudity is enough, no sense in going porn style (which full on nude genitalia is).

Topless nudity with ME1 (not 2) love scene is the perfect answer for love scenes!

Not so much your enterting the bad taste enviroment but not so little is stupidly insulting!

As usualy in most cases, the perfect fit is somewhere in the middle of the two sides

So, so true...

The DA sex scenes were creepy.

I vote for a fade to black with a cut-scene at dawn with some funny after shag dialog.

picking up 2 pencils and making them kiss and screw is how I think of the sex scenes in DAO, at least my pencils are more animated. When morrigan walks towards the camera during the dark ritual, shes so creepy I wanted to punch her in the face. Marjolaine walking like a retard towards that Raleigh fella, when she was about to seduce him (Leliana's Song), gtfo really, if someone walks like that in real life, you'd call for an ambulance.

What matters the idea of you getting to hump your girl or guy, that's the prize, because the animation is too bad to be any sort of reward for the player.

DAO scenes we're very creepy. cringe worthy. probably because the models movements/animation and look was off...or....i dunno it was weird! i say go watch some K or j-dramas/movies if you want to do a conservative romance.(i mean w/o love scenes. like a relationship build up-but bioware are pretty good at that already..Alistair~)

So....what's a good example of a love-scene.... the one that pops to mind right now is probably the scene from Planet Terror(2007) with cherry. it was short, sexy and not tooo graphic. i also liked ME1's love scene :P

anyone want to give an example of a good love scene, bioware could possibly source from and why you like it.(keep this mature kids.)

This might sound stupid, but I liked the love scene in Avatar. It was visually stunning (as far as the setting and whatnot), nice music, you knew what they were doing, but they didn't go into unnecessary detail. It was absolutely not gratuitous at all and contributed to the story in an important way. I can tell you honestly it was the first movie sex scene I didn't feel awkward watching with my parents.

Ironically enough, they also wore stuff that covered their bits and pieces, but it didn't stand out as comically jarringly as in DAO.

I have to agree, Jade Empire has the most epic kissing scene in the history of video gaming.

I'm going with Brutal Legend on this one.  It looked like real kissing, not two Barbies being mashed together.

Sex scenes are a trademark of Bioware RPGs, I wouldn't be surprised if there were programmers dedicated solely to the creation of sex scenes.

I wonder who does the motion capture for them?

No there not. SW: Knights of the Old Republic did'nt have any, and thats there best game ever IMO. ( I have never played Baldurs Gate, Neverwinter Nights or Jade Empire)

But they should make the DAO sex scenes better and less cheesy

The Notebook. Awesome Love Movie, im not Gay.

Also ME1 had a good love scene, but not ME2 (ESPECIALLY WITH JACOB!)

ME1's were probably some of the best done "love scenes" I've seen in a game without them being censored like the ridiculous fully-clothed scenes in DA:O...thank god for mods for that though..

ME1's were fully nude but done in a tasteful way, kinda like you'd see on a tv show.

that's the kind of scene I'd like to see for DA2..

but let's not call for them to be removed mmmkay...it's bad enough it sounds like DA2 is going the route of ME2...y'know....less RPG...more KILL KILL KILL

I really REALLY liked the emotion and dialogue in the love scene with Jack, but the fully-clothedness was even worse than in DAO. I mean in DAO at least it was underwear...there, they didn't even so much as roll up their sleeves.

i say make them shorter, and dimly lit

and no cheesy music, just rhythmic heartbeats (if i remember correctly mass effect 1 did this)

have the player character or whatever going down on their partner and then just fade out

short, sweet, and to the point. like the ritual sex scene where morrigan blows out the candle before you see some serious sexy time

I laughed at the love scenes. They were just so weird looking. I mean really, who has sex in their underwear? Come on bioware! lol I hope they make them a bit more realistic looking.

you know, given the right characters, they don't even have to have a love scene. some of the best romance scenes in some movies is just a kiss. its all the building up to it. it would work if they both 'had a thing' but wouldn't really admit it or just kept getting interrupted- till something tipped the scale.

(oh Internets will hang me. Sex scene NAO. naked!)

It's true. I don't remember who originally said it, but I always liked the quote "It is far more erotic to wonder if you are about to be kissed than to be kissed."

And of the DAO scenes, I think the Morrigan DR one was the best, and it showed the least. The touch with blowing out the candle at the end was nice. The only thing I didn't like it was the frightened look on her partner's face...I mean maybe that's appropriate for Alistair or even perhaps Loghain, but that's not at ALL how my character would look. He was totally smitten with her, and it would be a very emotional moment, considering he knows he's going to lose her either way...not at all a "WHOA HO HO WHAT'S ABOUT TO HAPPEN HERE?!" moment.

Make each sex scene unique(similar to ME2, but better) and no awkward underwear sex.

Because it fades out before sex. Jacks scene shows no sex. Perfect example would be the god-awful engine room scene with miri(why the area Bioware!) the screen fades and if you look closey it looks like Miri was undoing Shepards pants. ME2 decideds to more of a romanctic take which failed hard on some romances but it faided which was good.
