I can agree with this. I don't really have a problem with the scenes in Dragon Age I think they were perfectly fine, but you need to mod in nudity to make them really work. Otherwise it's just...odd.

But there are alternatives that are much less...pornographic? There are regular nude models as well as underwear replacements.

Though, I don't recall the sex scenes being heavy on the Warden's privates? Even with the nudity modded in the scenes are still relavitely tame. Certainly no worse than an R-rated film. Which after all, is what Dragon Age sort of is the video game equivelent of, I'd say. Unless I'm not remembering it all right?

All I remember is the scene starts out with my Warden standing there naked (or with his loincloth on), facing the camera, with Morrigan behind him. It's a wide-angle shot (of course), so there's no missing it. I didn't take the time to try it out with any other NPC combinations. It was...yikes.

I never understood when morrigan was on top and your wardens legs were open and kind of up in the air. I felt like she was more of a ...H.....i....e..... something, something, or IT factor. Maybe the warden liked something down in the bottom spot. I don't know know i mean morrigan did have a long staff. MAybe that is what that scene was insinuating. Either way. It looks wrong and cheesy.

Ok, writing this part has really got me thinking about that warden and my wardens old love scene and morrigans staff. Oh, what have I done! Shuting up now!

Full nudity gets the game banned. I like the idea of a simple love scene with different camera angles like a hollywood movie. Bioware said they wanted to make this game. Cinametic well then here you go. KEep it P-13 with a little dry humping at the start and I think everyone will be happy. IF the make a toolset all you porn freaks can get your fill with mods.

YEah, it made my heart jump when I saw that. I couldn't get enough of it. IT was just glorious. hmmm. Anyway, I agree with you. Only I liked this idea better. You get your nice kiss scene fade to black and then you hear some sounds.

I 2nd this. Hug, kiss, roll on the bed, kiss again, fade to black. Simple, effective, and less ridiculous than having sex in underwear. And an afterscene of you and your LI laying together, holding each other while talking might add to the atmosphere.

ME1 was the first Bioware game that actually had a love scene.

As for the rest of your post, that is the matter of taste. I found love scenes in ME1, ME2 and DA:O to be perfectly fine. They were all done in a tasteful manner.

Also, DA is supposed to be a dark fantasy epic geared towards more mature players (as it's rating label clearly proves) and, unless there've been some changes in that regard we aren't aware of, I would expect DA2 to be the same.

I also support more romantic than sexual cut-scenes. Flirt, kiss, roll around and have a conversation in the morning - like in real life.



I would also *love* different cut-scenes for different characters and if you slept with the same character twice (which should be allowed), it should be a different cut scene (maybe even different music).

I thought ME1 scenes were fine since its supposed to be a mature game. Then the foxtards raised a fuss and bioware caved with ME2 and DAO(clothed sex scenes...really?). I expect DA2 will be even more censored and family safe than DAO since that's their trend.

And what exactly did you find so offensive about love scenes in DA:O, ME1 or ME2 for that matter?

I clearly didin't see a massive protest from people who played the game about any of the stuff you mentioned because they knew it would be there.

Do I expect to see blood when I cut someone down with a sword? Yes, because the same thing would happen in real life.

Do I expect to see a sex scene when a a female npc invites my character to her bed? Yes, I do.
How it's going to play out is up to game developers. I have no problem with it if it's done in a tasteful manner and not demeaning to either characters. Especially since it's entirely optional and you can simply refuse to participate if it offends you for any reason.

DA is about mature themes that some people may not be able to deal with, either because they find them to be unacceptable or are too young to handle them. That's why ratings exist and why you always have a choice to decide if something appeals to you or not.
If it doesn't then that's fine, but don't be naive and expect the devs to change things based on your personal opinion. Especially when that opinion may not match that of the majority.
