Shamans only use natural magics a reaver would not make them a shaman they cannot use arcane magics. Thats what seperates them from a mage. I guess you sorta can make one if you are a mage put points in pirmal become a arcane warrior for the plate and spirit healeriTomes wrote...
well imo new classes are absolutely not necessary. you see, the shaman guy for example could simply be a specialication for warriors. you see, many characterclasses kinda ruin a game. u are making almost all important choices BEFORE you start playing. you may could make a class called "slaughterer", someone who is only allowed to use two handed weapons BUT can also use some magical power to damage his oponents and gets stronger when hes near death. AND he has got a high mental resistance. oh, wait, thats a templar/reaver whose skilled on 2H weapons...

And the problem left needed to be adressed is....? Oh, it misses the name... right... big thing...
As you showed, you don't need a Shaman class, you just need ideas. Awakening's specializations opened even more combinations. So if DA 2 goes the same direction I would be very pleased.

Well, I'd like the option to multi-class....

and don't forget that you can pull the keeper to it for the natural magic. of course the wolfsummoning is missing, but you can simply take a rogue with u that summons it for you and imagine it is yours xD^^

Lets hope DA2 allows you to summon the spirit wolves. Also make the mage even more like a Nercomancer and a warlock allow you to summon demons from the fade would be awsome.iTomes wrote...
