Right, so I'm assuming that everyone here has heard that the Dragon Age 2 storyline will take place over ten years. Frankly, that's the main thing that gives me hope for this game despite the voiced PC. That's neither here nor there, though. What I want to know is if you'll let us change Hawke's physical appearance over the span of the decade? Obviously I'm not talking about huge changes like changing the gender or height, but more superficial changes like growing a beard or adding scars.

The thing that got me thinking about this was planning out how I'm going to roleplay my first Hawke (first one who makes an innuendo gets shot, by the way). In Dragon Age: Origins my main character, Taiyama Surana is roleplayed as an initially timid, shy, and cowardly man who grows as the game progresses into a charismatic and brave hero. Ten years would give me an even better time span to tell a story like that so I was thinking of doing something similar with Hawke (though with quite a few changes so he's not just a Taiyama clone). I also figured it might be really cool to have Hawke grow a manly Duncan-esque beard as he progresses as a sort of symbolism for his growth as a person.

So, what do you say, Bioware? I know it's a little kind of silly thing, but these little kind of silly things really add up when you're dealing with customers like me who like to roleplay and create an extremely detailed character.
