Everyone should give Dragon age 2 a chance yes, but if DA2 flops do you think BioWare will go back to its roots? Without our PC having a voice and the whole Mass effect dialog system. Back to the stuff that made us love Origins in the first place.

If DA2 does not sell as much as Origins, will there be a DA3?

More likely the franchise will just stop being developed.

Flop how?

Review wise? Possible but unlikely. Probably wouldn't do much.

Commercially would force change, but honestly, it's only been announced and it's probably money in the bank.

If it flops really bad, which I doubt it will, they probably wouldn't risk making another dragon age game.  Thats what I think atleast.

yeah thats true then maybe get picked up again after a while. I highly doubt this game will flop though regardless of how the forum users feel about it though

And that is why we are counting on BioWare to make this game good, so that there will be more DA in the years to come?

I'm the most pessimistic person I know, but the negativity on this forum is just hilarious.

If God appears before Richard Dawkins, will he write a book called "The Dawkins Delusion"?

Biowre has enough fanboys to ensure it doesn't flop, however, I am sure it's possible for a game to not meet their sales expectations, in which case they would probably just retire the franchise.

People seem to be over reacting to the fact your PC is voiced. Everyone assumes it will be like Mass Effect even though we have no information on what it is like, only a VERY vague idea. All that Bioware has said so far is that you have a central character which is voiced and you can only play human. Ignoring the only human part, the rest isn't so bad. We know nothing of what the dialog system will be like. It could be just like Mass Effect, it could be the exact same as Origins, just voiced. Trowing out accusations that it is "Mass Effect with swords" etc etc is just plain stupid. The gameplay was already similar, but a change in dialogue forcing that, get real.
