If you notice the (well not so subtle). it's OBVIOUS they are a couple.... and the more armor you have made the more the guy up front gets pissed off at you....
And by you having all this armor made, they aren't getting any more bussiness.. so the sacrifice for getting all this armor made is not being able to use their store anymore (I got confirmation from BW on this)
You can use the swarf store outside in the marketplace still

There are two problems with this:And by you having all this armor made, they aren't getting any more bussiness.. so the sacrifice for getting all this armor made is not being able to use their store anymore (I got confirmation from BW on this)
- The player is given the choice to pay upfront for the armors (a total of 30 sovereigns). If Wade wants to do the job for that sum, or even free or charge, even though Herren feels it's not enough, then that's Wade problem and not the player's. The player is effectively punished for Wade's decision, seeing as they're unable to pay whatever theoretical sum that would please Herren.
- It makes no sense that Herren no longer wants to accept the player's money, seeing as it's his job to sell armor for money. He's not paying the player - the player is paying him. How on earth can he dislike the player so much that he's no longer willing to accept money for armor that's already crafted? The player is paying the same amount of money as other NPCs would've, had they been able to buy things. Herren is not gaining anything by refusing, so it makes absolutely no sense.

[*]That's the only problem I had with the design also.Meadowz wrote...

[*]Obviously it's working as intended, as hinted by Herren's dialog, but that doesn't mean it's good design, especially when there's no definite warning prior to crafting the armor.

Definitely bad design. Unfortunately that seems to be the trend with a lot of games anymore. Dangle something in front of the player and then punish them like it is a trap and yell 'Haha, I beat you!'
Try as you might, that is what it comes down to.
