I wondering sinces, DA2 is about hawkes rise to power, do you think he become ruler of the united free Marshes and Nervarra, forming a Empire evening larger then Orlais. If any on else have other ideas please shoot.

i actually had the same idea xD. that would mean we could have war with ferelden, so we could fight our own warden and see how the king/queen we pulled in charge works out xDDD

I'd seriously like to have the choice between being the UN secretary General of Thedas or the Supreme All Worshipped God Emporer of Thedas, name all your kids after him, possibly some points in between, maybe, perhaps.

I thought of this at well, he probably unites all the cities and makes it one big country.

I also read on Dragon Age Wikia that there was a recent war between Orlais and Nevarra, could just be a rumor though.



But if it isn't we might hear more of it in DA2

Just because he is important doesn't mean the thing tha happens needs to be HUGE. He could do somthing simlple that has a ripple effect for all we know.

Yes but we don't know how important Kirkwall is, it might just be a small trading post.
But yeah like rooky says it could have a large impact later on in the story, only being the beginning of Hawke's rise to power.

That would be cool, but we need more info before seeing if that idea actually comes true or not.

I wouldn't mind seeing this (Hawke attaining a position of real power as opposed to just a powerful but beholden-to-no-one hero). Awakening gave a nice taste of how much fun political intrigue can be; now I want more!

I've said before, but IMO Hawke is going to be like Calenhad and unite the Free Marches. He'll then rule as king, like Conan.

I think Hawke will wipe out the remaining elves, lay waste to the land, fornicate with demons, and start up a dragon breeding program. And, for some reason, the people of Kirkwall will really enjoy this

In the Five Facts article on GameInformer, they say Kirkwall is "a major population center in the Free Marches." They don't technically say it's the biggest though.

who that could end up become the capitiol city next big Empire Thedas, I personal do like entire Conan Idea rise power, to play through something like that would be **** kick ass!

Don't know if Hawke will get to unite the Free Marches but it'd be cool if the option was there. I agree with the person who mentioned that political intrigue is fun (one thing I liked most about Awakening).

You don't kill off every single elf in DAO. You only get the option of killing off one clan of Dalish. Nor do you get to lay waste to the land. Only the Hurlock Vanguard gets to do that and he hardly counts.
