A greater variety of clothing is needed for DA2.

I believe it would be an improvement if we could have seperate layers of real clothes plus armor on top of it
also, having npc-s deny us access to some places because we have an armor on and/or are armed, this was so great in past rpg-s (Fallout 1 as example)
I loved that in NWN if you ran around naked the npcs would yell at you for being indecent.
Not that I did a lot of that.
Ahem. *coughs*

I also miss the option from Baldur's Gate that you could cast a Charm spell on bystanders or just a waitress and then talk with them getting secret info out from "your friend" so if a Charm-like spell gets included I would like to see this happen again

In which case I demand the ability to make my PC look exactly like Bettie Paige.

Also, frivolous costumes that are not practical in combat, but look cool.

Was just replaying the NWN OC this week and giggling at the old, 'Quit waving your weapon around like a thug!" Oopsie, guess it's not polite to walk around with your +1 Glowy Mace of Spiky Doom hanging out.

I'd prefer that my female characters not look like they're going to a fetish model shoot unless they're actually going to a fetish model shoot.

I only play two kinds of female characters. The kind that dresses sweet and innocent, but is emotionally tough and will do what she thinks is right, no matter what, and the kind that dresses like a fetish model with a brutal and dominearing personality. I'd like to be able to satisfy both sides please.

It's basically just a better meshed version of the mage clothing from DA:O. I am disappointed and hope that as these are early, more (better) is to come.

I agree, it certainly looks like another rehash. I'm disappointed already.
Oh well... BioWare's games were never really about how the characters looked... From Miranda's ugliness in ME2, to a lack of clothes in DAO, etc...

The solution to this problem as I see it is one of two things. One, they make it so that you can wear appearance armor that doesn't have anything to do with stat armor. Or two, they make armor and weapon items each be enticing in a way so that you can switch between outfits without losing any stats. I hope that wasn't too confusing.
