Does anyone else think that Bioware will do the same thing they did for Mass effect 3 like they did for mass effect 2 by adding something special for it by buying Dragon age 2?

Only if they're being launched anywhere near each other. And why not? It's a freebie for people enjoying both games. Those who don't won't lose out on anything.

Maybe an item for their MMO, the two are being released closer to the same time frame I believe.

I like the tie-ins. I never used the Blood Dragon Armour but I would love to see what they do. I wouldn't mind it being more useful then the Armour though. Just off the top of my head there isn't really anything other then armour that can be implemented.
Maybe have a side quest involving a comparable character from DA2. Like a "Captain" Hawke (that looks like your Hawke from DA2) who is trying to stop a Blight on Planet Thedas. Just a silly thought but would be kinda cool.

Well there's about a 10 month difference between releases this time if I'm not mistaken so don't count on it.

Yeah, exclusive item(s) for TOR would make more sense.

The new pre-order bonus for DA2: The Toma-hawke! A curve blade that grants +3 strength and 50% chance to kill your enemy instantly on hit. The ME3 version will be a boomerang that replaces your grenades!

I would like a new version of the Blood Dragon Armour. It looked bether in Mass Effect 2 then Dragon Age and that was to bad. I didnt use it in Mass Effect 2 since you could not remove the helmet.

Sure, why not.  I mean they just announced the game and we haven't seen a trailer, but finding out if there is any pre-order loot is at the top of everyone's list of questions . . . .Posted Image

Oh, there will be pre order loot, that much you can bet on.

I'm sure as sheet that there will be a tie-in to one of their games. BioWare wrote the book on cross-promotional DLC.

According to EA's timescale, both games are supposed to come out in 2011. So the separation between releases wouldn't be a problem.

Blood Dragon Armor 2.0? Sure.

If I can remove the helmet on ME3's version, at least.

Well.

Seems I spoke too soon.

At this rate, ME3 will have a bonus for DA2.

Blood Phoenix Armor would be......odd. But if they could make it work, sure.

But I don't want anything futuristic in DA2. BD Armor worked in ME2.

I'm sure it will be all "comes from the ancient tree of Baldur found on planet Krakkkuhum" or some such.

If ME3 has a direct reference to Thedas, I will proceed to evacuate my bowels like Hawke evacuated from Lothering.
