MW2 has probably the same amount of complaints since the mp is a glitch fest and they neglected the story.
Happens to all sequels and the more things stay the same the more MEGA MAN
Glitches are in every game. Since we are taking about complaints based off what a game is, rather then what bugs it has, that argument is null and void.
Since is got about $1 Billion in sales I would say the complaints were few.
MEGA MAN....
Air Man...I really hate you...

I'm awfully confused by the conspiracy theories floating around. Is EA supposed to be greedy, or clueless, or both simultaneously? In order to make more money, EA is said to be forcing Bio to modify a popular game to be more like a less-popular game. I'm having a tough time visualizing that meeting.

I am not asking this question to be a jerk: but have you ever had a corporate style boss that is an a**hole?
This is the very kind of thing they demand, fast results at the expense of all else.

Davasar understand that the people that don´t like mass effect 2 and new changes of DA 2 are the PC gamers (not all the PC gamers, only the otakus with this crazy obsession about the roleplaying)

You can't demand results in the area of gaming or else you end up with unplayable and buggy ass games. Look at KOTOR 2, it was hurt more than it was helped by the moving of hte deadline. Same for ME1, that game came out most likely because EA purchased Bioware and MS had to get it out of the door. This was not the case with ME 2 or DA:O
Your KOTOR 2 example, think of how bad it would have been had they not given it more time. Probably toally unplayable. Taking more time to perfect mistakes in a game gets rid of bugs, it doesnt add to them.
And yet we've all seen crappy games because of the demands of the bosses. Games that are: dumbed down, striped down, made easier, loss of content.
We've all seen this happen, and it happens usually because things are being rushed.

Hey, I am sure that for the audience it was meant for ME2 is a good game. It just isnt me (and many others) they targeted that game to.
DAO was targeted to me and the folks that enjoy that type of game.
But with the change, we are not part of that target audience anymore. Thats why people fell mad/betrayed. Because they were loyal fans and got tossed by the wayside

KOTOR 2 was buggy and unfinished because it had a rushed deadline. A rushed deadline almost always leads to buggy **** in the world of game making.
Ah, I thought you meant they moved the deadline back, not forward. My mistake.
Then we are in agreement.
Rushing a game makes it have less value.
So, in making DA2, it seems to have been rushed by EA. So it is missing key elements that made DAO successful. Why alienate your loyal fans from a successful franchise?
Only one logical explanation: they were ordered to due to "time constraints"

Perhaps in certain regards they look at ME2 as their 'cutting edge' game that DA2 should be modelled after, and while its true that DAO was far more successful than ME2 there's no doubt that that some higher-ups in Bioware could still look at ME2 as the model simply because their graphics were clearly superior, and because it generally got higher review scores from the media as a result. Naturally when you take that too far, and start seriously modelling your more popular game after your less popular one, that probably won't go well, so hopefully they'll keep that to a minimum. We'll have to wait and see.
well DA:O was more successfuk than ME2 because was multi, mass effect is PC and 360 exclusive don´t forget that
