That is, of course, assuming Endrin has casteless concubines like Bhelen apparently does/will. Noble hunters is a very viable option for DNMs, Nothing speficially sates only casteless are noble hunters though. Could be a DNF from a noble hunter from the high placed Warrior Caste. It would fit fairly well with the story of the DN not really expecting to rule (having taken her mother's warrior caste status) but popular enough to be concidered (since she is of Aeducan blood). Still, the most likely outcome is all three are from the mythical, never really covered Queen.

Why? Neither Bhelen or Trian look anything alike. Maybe it was a case of King Endrin VIII.

I like to RP my Aeducan's mother as having been a Harrowmont....

Really? What about this picture I totally stole borrowed from Yuki?

Or this one of just the two of them looking at the camera?

Or these close up of them?

They look a lot alike and even have the exact same nose. Bhelen has a redder complexion than Trian and lighter blonde hair but my full-siblings and I are have bigger differences in appearance and it's hardly enough to point towards a different mother as if either of them were taking more after their mother then the other could just as easily favor their father without needing to be half-siblings.

I like to RP my Aeducan's mother as having been a Harrowmont....

She could be since Harrowmont is a noble house but I think that if a Harrowmont was on the throne as Queen (or princess consort technically) people wouldn't be saying that House Harrowmont was overstepping itself by trying for the throne (no one claims that about Anora, after all) and an ambitious possibly kinslaying young prince/king might not want to marry such a relatively inconsequential woman (and it was seen as that until Endrin took a liking to them).

I'm not trying to tell you how to play your game, however, and it does fit the lore if she were.

Yeah, they could be full siblings. The point is they look different enough that they don't have to be. It's no skin off my nose if you want to think they all have the same mother. Speaking of which, you're right about their noses, I missed that. Other than the noses, however, they really don't look alike.

Edit: Regarding a Harrowmont queen: in my mind, she was long dead and Endrin had another wife (an Aeducan cousin) by which he sired Bhelen. She's dead by the time the game begins, too, but recently so. As a result of his parentage, Bhelen considers himself a "purer" Aeducan than either of his brothers. Whether Trian is the full-sibling of my Dwarf Noble varies from game to game.

I'm not sure if I'd buy him marrying an Aeducan. Even if they don't care about incest or they weren't closely enough related for that to be weird (of course, I think all relations getting together is weird bu then again I barely know my second cousins let alone beyond that), marrying an Aeducan wouldn't strengthen a House alliance. Trian's journal said he was courting a Helmi so as to keep that alliance strong and Baizyl's lover was married to a deshyr's heir to strengthen the ties to House Aeducan. What possible benefit could he get out of marrying someone from his own House?

Fair points. Maybe she was just really freakin' hot. Endrin's the King, he can delegate the strengthening of House ties to lesser Aeducans. :P

Oh, I know. The further away from the main line you are, though, the lower in the House and I come from a society where knowing you are related to someone means it's weird if you date them. Although considering how small the extended families are we can do that better than other societies where you can trace your family back for centuries.

Personally, I know some of my parents cousins and that's about as far as it goes.

Well, hey, then maybe it was about strengthing ties with an increasingly wayward Aeducan branch. ;)

Could they be redheads? It seems REALLY unlikely.

They can: "Even if both parents do not have red hair themselves, both can be carriers for the gene and have a redheaded child." (from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_hair) Technically red hair is a genetic mutation or "mistake"... In other words, redheads are genetic freaks...:P

I've watched a friend of mine play the HN with darker skin. Made me wonder if Eleanor had a bit of fun and Bryce was just too nice a guy to say anything. It was... awkward. :P

So no Adaia screenies? Sadness.

Question- do you ever see Maric or is it just mentioned that he is king?

That's a bummer.  I might have bought it if we got a glimpse of Maric.  I'd still love a Stolen Throne DLC.

And... Mom?  That is really not a good lipstick color on you.

P.S. Thank you for the screenshot!

I think there's actually a character model for Maric buried in the game's data somewhere.

Oh?  I'd kiss (in a platonic, virtual sort of way) anyone who could show a toolset image of that.

It's unfortunate, but she's not the first (or worst) case of bad make up choices I've seen the ladies of Farelden make. There's one noble lady in Awakeneings that causes me to cringe every time I see her.

Yes, Maric & David Gaider are in there.  I won't be home for a good 6 hours, but if no one has posted one yet - I'll plop him in the game and get you a picture.

Well, this is what I found In the Broken Circle face morphs:

Gotta say, definitely thought he'd be more buff considering his way with the ladies in the book.;)

Also found kid Cailan. Perhaps this was meant to be some sort of Alistair Nightmare that was scrapped?:

Posted Image

Hope that helps! But now I have to know - Where is David Gaider???

Edit: Because I can't take decent screenshots :/. They ARE labelled Maric and Cailan respectively, just in case you HAVEN'T got the eyes of a hawk.

Edit 2: Because spelling and grammar are good things!

Sorry, I don't remember which folder Gaider is in. I'm going to have to look around myself. I just remember opening it up to take a look at it.

Smooches for the image!

As for how he looks here... weeeellll, it doesn't exactly cause heart flutters, but I guess it's about right.  Alistair must have gotten his eyes from mom.

This still looks better:

LMAO. That is exactly the first thing I said when I saw her.

I suppose it is better that it be ganguro than someone being an ass and giving her ashy lips >:| I'd have to bring out my murder knife.
