I have some minor gripes concerns, but damn it this is another Bioware fantasy epic! Me not buying it would be like a sign of the fricken apocolypse.

BioWare has always been my favorite game developer and I have played almost every game they have released. When Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic first came out, I purchased an Xbox just to play that game. Same thing happened with the Xbox360 when Mass Effect was released. So it's safe to say I'm a big fan of BioWare.
That being said, I am not happy with the direction their games are taking lately. I loved both Mass Effect games for example, but in comparison to Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 feels too mainstream and censored to me for a mature rated game, and I certainly didn't care for that "predefined character" crap. Now it looks as though Dragon Age 2 is taking the same direction as Mass Effect 2.
I love Dragon Age and have played it so many times that I've lost count, but I do have some serious concerns now. Is Dragon Age 2 going to be like Mass Effect 2? Will I now have another "predefined character"? I'm sorry, but I don't want that. Not after the freedom I had in Dragon Age Origins.
And by the way, I really hate the new conversation system. I actually enjoyed interacting with my party members in camp, or wherever else I felt like talking to them. With the new system conversations are automatically triggered at random locations and that's it? Don't like it at all. Maybe if BioWare mixed the new system with the old...I don't know.
To be fair, I will wait for more information before I decide, but I am not preordering this time. We'll see what happens.

While RPG's and DA-O did not even put a dent in my graphics on my PC, they never do. The RPG type game just do not require a lot, I still will not buy a Hentai cartoonish type game. Sorry, I don't care how good the story is. Still waiting to see what type of immersive world the DA-O2 has. One gets spoiled playing Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Crysis.

I'm not worried at all. I will/have pre-ordered DA2
i will probably try to get it off of steam if it's available. i just love not having CDs but rather i can just go anywhere, hop on a PC (that's decent) and play my games!!!

I probably belong to the group: "I have some significant concerns. There is a chance I will not buy DA2."
By reading the Bioware's game introduction, I have a feeling that this is going to be General John Hawke. As much as I enjoy Mass Effect 2, I do not want to see DA 2 turning into another Mass Effect in another setting.
I sincerely hope Bioware do not forget about the loyal fans who have followed them since Baldur's Gate.
