Ok, i started playing through on insanity mode many months ago and got about halfway through the game when  i stopped playing for a couple of months, i recently decided to finish my insanity run though but after i loaded up my save file i noticed that the difficulty had been changed back to normal.

My question is has anyone else had this happen to them and if i changed it back to insanity on the last save file will it still count towards the achievement or has the game screwed me over and i have to start all over again?.

I would suggest loading your previous saves until you find one that's still on Insanity. Changing the difficulty off of Insanity to anything else, even for a second, even if you cancel out of the menu, negates the achievement, according to a BioWare employee that posted on the forums a while back.

Then it seems i am screwed, the first thing i did when i saw it had changed was to check all the previous saves, and they were all on normal.



If this is the case and i have to start from the begining then thats a seriously bad bug, all my hard work getting to were i was lost due to a stupidly random glitch.
