I think it might be possible that Flemeth senses the potential in Hawke and begins acting as his slightly-malevolent mentor, Kreia-style.

If Flemeth is definitely going to appear, then it will probably have to take place before her final encounter with the Warden in Origins; otherwise it would be weird if she appeared in my game, because my Warden killed her. Of course, it could be later on in the game and she could be in an entirely new body; but then that might be weird for anyone whose Warden DIDN'T kill her, since why would she have bothered to change her body?
Maybe she's the one who persuades Hawke to leave Lothering. Her actions in Origins seemed to imply that she can glimpse into the future, so she sees his importance. Personally I think that Flemeth is pulling everyone's strings in the DA universe. If there turns out to be a really big bad stretching out across the entire franchise, it won't be the Archdemons, it will be Flemeth.

A yes a star wars easter egg has been implemented into the game Only its like this:
Flemeth:
HAWKE!
Hawke: (Breathes hard)
Flemeth: I am your mother!
Hawke: No that is not true.
Flemeth: Search your feelings and believe them to be true.
Hawke: NAHHHHHNOOOOOOOO!
Reference:
i hope tht happens because i just find it utterly hilarious.

I'm intrigued by that idea. The enduring evil that stays on the periphery of every game in the franchise until she is slain in much later game after her plans almost come to fruition. Flemeth is probably my favorite side character in Origins due to her wit and mystery. She is supposed to be evil but it's clear there's so much more to her than "Hahaha! I'll destroy you all!" It will be very interesting to see what the writers do with her in DA2. I just hope all her mystery and history isn't laid bare by the plot.

I love that her motivations remain a mystery. I agree with you, in fact if there's one thing I'd really like from Bio, it's that Flemeth remains an enigma for as long as possible. It's clear that she's doing some fairly major manipulating, and that in rescuing the only remaining wardens, she actually saved Fereldan from the Blight (arguably the real hero of Origins?). But it's also clear that she's no philanthropist. Great character.

Agreed. Though If anything they should keep her 'true' history and purpose up to player interpretation.
Kind of like the Urn of Sacred Ashes having holy powers or possibly just really potent magic.

Me too, I'd love to start off in the Academy, or as a lowly ensign and slowly work my way up to Captain. If I could say the words 'Make it so!' in an ST RPG setting, I think I'd be happy forever

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought that witch of the wild breeded only females, didn't she?SDNcN wrote...
What if it turns out that Hawke is actually one of Flemeth's children?
The Game Informer spread apparently says Flemeth will appear in the game and according to the five facts page Hawke lived in Lothering, which is pretty close to the Korcari Wilds.

The Witches of the Wilds include Flemeth and her Daughters (whom Felemeth later becomes).
I don't think there is anything saying she can only have daughters, but she is a really old abomination so guess anything goes. In fact it might be possible that she can't have children herself. If I remember correctly Morrigan was pretty open to the possibility that Flemeth Kidnapped her.

Than why would she captured a man when she only wanted her future selfs? And that would also mean that Hawke had some innate powers before the capture (as magics can't be teached, one has to be born with it)SDNcN wrote...
