It would be nice to see some more variety of the mage's robes in DA2 as there only seemed to be about 2 or 3 styles throughout the whole of DA:O and most of them are all the same but just a different colour. Something a little more elaborate would be really cool.

This. And let's not forget about the silly headgear for mages too...

Fair amount of different looking maces and axes, (same goes for two handed equivalants
Fair amount of varied crossbows, and have more difference between them and bows attack wise
Ability to create the hawke in the trailers, with a bladed staff as mage AND wearing heavy armor (so basically arcane warrior and blood mage that returns)
Good amount of different costumes for each companion, and the ability to choose our weapon... (I understand Isabella might have to be dual wield, but atleast give us the option to giver her one sword, mace or axe....)
more varied mage outfits, even though I probably will go arcane warrior if it is available, I still prolly have to be something else first)
Hoods that are actually hoods and not caps
party banter
Telekinesis and Virolent walking bombs
(and prolly some more stuff....)
Oh and a beard that actually looks like the cgi hawkes beard, cause the ingame one, is too big for him imo...

The hats in general looked pretty bad, period. I'd like to see some hats that actually work with your hairstyle instead of replacing it, too.

I really liked how ME2 paid homage to Bioshock with the Overload DLC. It would be sweet if DA2 did the same with another EA franchise. *Cough* Deadspace *Cough*

My wishlist is more diologue options. I hated having 3 that basically said the same thing, or getting trapped into either ending a conversation or having to say something my character didn't believe at all. A chantry hating dward in a convo with sten had to stop an interesting conversation because the only option left was 'there's some worth to the chant'. I couldn't talk to the dalish without apologising for humans. Seriously, when talking about the old war my only choices were 'Elves suck', elves suck', or 'humans aren't so bad'. Even when playing a human hating elf. I just really want more diologue to help with the roleplay experiance.
