Is there anything from Mass Effect you want in DA2?

Shep's armour system. (Not the companion's one, or rather, lack of one.)
The hide helmet option, so those who want to go helmetless can, and those who want to keep their helmets aren't forced to remove them during conversations.
I just found it goddamn ridiculous that my character would take off his helmet in the middle of a battlefield just so he could talk to someone.

(sadly, I think I'd honestly enjoy that lol *imagines mowing down wave after wave of darkspawn w/ the Revenant...and have them drop those heat clip things* (0_o) )
customizable armor (wouldn't mind some N7 armor, too)
ME1's approach to sex scenes
a Mako
better performance (ME2 runs so much more smoothly than ME1 on my PC. ME2 was less buggy, too...I don't even remember any bug/crash)

Just out of curiosity, why are people comparing DA2 with Mass Effect?
Did I miss a memo somewhere that said this was Mass Effect: medieval edition? At least wait until the freaking launch trailer comes out people.
No one is saying ME/medevial edition.Trying to avoid arguements.
I don't recall anyone saying anything was taken from ME and placed onto DA2.
I think people are falling pray to assumptions.
or prEy to lack of intelligence..
why don't you learn to comprehend before you post.....dialogue wheel, direct rip out of ME1/2..tweaked for DA. A single PC "Shep.." I mean "Hawke" also..and while the single pc is anything BUT new...it's still disheartening to see BioWare dumb it down and take away our freedom.

I hope they don't go the ME2 route and strip away the rpg elements for a more stream-lined, action game. I liked that DA1 was different than the norm and felt like a throwback to older rpgs. Let Mass Effect be the cash cow, mass appeal action franchise, and let us rpg fanatics have our Dragon Age.

Helmet remove option! Or rather hide..
They did that in origins they could probably do the same thing in DA 2. It doesn't seem like a big deal.

I bought DA:O for what it is, and I bought ME1/ME2 for something different. You can have your soup and cake, no need to mix them, especially because it will ruin both.

Seriously?!? The love scenes in both ME games were pathetic!! I much prefer what we had in DA:O. I hope they leave the romance interactions like they did in DA.Arttis wrote...
I want better love scenes.ME1 kind.
WHAT love scenes? You never got to kiss your chosen companion, and the only time your character actually got to make love was at the very end of the game.Yamo425 wrote...
I do think the Mass Effect "love" scenes were more tasteful, so that would be a welcomed change.
Maybe some new things will be invented across the 10 years?
I'm hoping it was because my female Shepard chose Garrus in ME2 (she chose Kaiden in ME1), but that was the MOST PATHETIC love scene I've ever seen. She cupped his face and then they touched foreheads and then it faded to black?!? That's not a love scene! (Even interactions after the suicide mission were lame.)
I never thought the love scenes in Dragon Age weren't tasteful. More realistic than what we had in Mass Effect, but certainly not less tasteful.
(I am playing ME2 through with that same character again, because I messed up some stuff and lost a LOT of people in the end, so I'm choosing someone other than Garrus, just not sure who yet.)
Now this I agree with completely. I love how ME2 did their armor system.Kaiser Shepard wrote...
I'd like to see Mass Effect 2's armor equipment system in Dragon Age 2.
Ditto this!!Pocketgb wrote...
Oh, and hiding helmets.
Just in case the emphasis wasn't reached: HIDING HELMETS!!!!!!!!
I would love if they use the DA:O companions interaction (both with the PC and with each other) for DA2 and ME3. I can't tell you how often I'd stop while travelling, just to listen to my companions interact with each other. (Especially Morrigan and, well, pretty much everyone. Even the dog!)Nerevar-as wrote...
I want to see things from DA:O into ME3,.sucg as companions interaction, more than 3 dialogs with them.

Dragons wouldn't stand a chance. Unless they're Reaper-Dragons...
But no: nothing from ME that I want to see in DA2 with any urgency. Especially not the armour or 'inventory' system, or any kind of morality meter.
