Space Hamster.

This.
(But ME2 is not the first Miniature Giant Space Hamster appearance)

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I enjoyed ME2 combat much more than DA:O. And I'm a guy who prefers Europa Universalis over any shooter. But I also prefer good action gameplay over poor tactical gameplay.
IMO DA:O fails to deliver good tactical combat (I blame multiplatforming). It's repetitive and full of simple, universal overpowered tactics.
Perhaps action combat in DA2 is a lesser evil.

The main thing I liked about ME2 was the combat. Though I don't necessarily think it would be a good thing to do that with swords.

Paragon/Renegade interruptions, even though Dragon Age morality system has no such things as paragons and renegades. But, you know, sometimes you JUST want to slap someone in the face ;-)

I'd like to see a shepherd, called Shepherd, who when you engage him in conversation only says 'I should go'

I would also like to give endorsements to locale merchants in DA2...for a discount of course!

"I am the Champion Hawke and this is my favorite shop in Kirkwall."

Coming from every shop. Hell yes.

Maybe Hawke has to give his endorsement to a parrot, which in turn squawks the greeting.

Probably could add it.

Just out of curiosity, why are people comparing DA2 with Mass Effect?

Did I miss a memo somewhere that said this was Mass Effect: medieval edition? At least wait until the freaking launch trailer comes out people.

Just a few thingss were taken form ME and put in DA2 so I am just asking if there were other things people might want put in also.
No one is saying ME/medevial edition.Trying to avoid arguements.

I don't recall anyone saying anything was taken from ME and placed onto DA2.

I think people are falling pray to assumptions.

Can you say that now still?

I'd like a DA2 version of the Normandy (so a castle or stately home probably). A permanent base for your various companions when you are in your home city, like the Arl of Denerim's estate only Hawke's. It should have staff - a butler, a cook, a few maids dotted about, a Chantry priest, possibly an apothecary, an enchanter, some guards for when Hawke et al are away, a dungeon for the possibility of taking prisoners?

I realise this is just sounding like a general stronghold, but there are a few specific things I like about the Normandy. One is the way the crew carry on conversations with each other about the various missions, or about their concerns, and Shepard can eavesdrop. Another is the very small sidequests to make life more pleasant for the crew eg the Ice brandy for Chakwas. I also like that the companions are placed in areas of the ship apt to their needs and personalities eg Legion in the AI core, rather than just standing about as many of them were in Denerim. I like that I can get items for my quarters - ship models and fish (even though they always die) and a hamster. Finally, I like the 'useful' things about the Normandy - the research station in ME2, being able to replenish Medi-gel in sickbay in ME1. I'm obviously not saying it should be a direct lift or anything, but, added to the ability to upgrade it, it has a bit more about it than the usual stronghold type thing.

And Garrus. Thx.

As long as we're going to have an ME dialogue system they should include interrupts.

Revered Mother: "Your sister is an abomination and she must…"

Hawke: [Interrupt: Punch Revered Mother]

It is debatable if Mass Effect 2 is a RPG, I would call it a shooter with some rpg elements.
