You'll get a cookie-cut body and like it. That's why you wore the necklaces. ;p

I really wish we'd get sliders for height and muscle at least. I don't necessarily think they'll do this, but I'd still like it. It isn't THAT big of a deal though, at least in my opinion.

I want my Hawke to be 7 feet (213 cm) tall.

how does a random generator sound? Give body options, Oblivion-style, and use the creator to randomly generate non-essential NPCs. Then custom-make story-related NPCs to achieve a desired look.

I liked seeing old people in as good of shape as young people.Siradix wrote...

You know how in DAO there's only one body model per race per gender? e.g. All human females look exactly the same wearing the Chasind Robes?
Actually, there's one body model per race, gender, and item. The Chasind Robes of Breast Enlargement are just the most obvious example.

I seriously doubt you will get an all points bulletin type character customization feature with DA2

Not asking for that, we only need three sliders: height, fat and muscle. As much as I enjoy picking the amount of dirt on my avatar's kneecaps, I think we can skip that with Hawke.

I doubt that, even if I like the idea.

The body models for DA:O were horrible. Especially for females. They just plain looked awful. And don't get me started on the NWN-esque animations. It's been how long since NWN? You can do better than that BioWare. If you can't then you deserve to get criticized for it.

I want seperate animation rigs for males and females so we avoid the Basic Instinct moments of ME2.

I would like male elves to be taller than female humans.

I think the whole point of making us play as Hawke is so they have one template instead of three to base everything off (armor, gear, animations, etc.). Therefore, making body shapes variable would undermine that entire aspect.
However, if SLIGHT customizations were permitted, like muscle size, the armor and other aspects wouldn't interfere. This would only work if every PC looked the same in full armor, but if there was sleevless armor, or something similarly revealing, the differences in muscle would be shown. This is the only way I can imagine that Bioware could impliment any variability in body type.
