the dragon age hub on gameinformer show loghain and cailan. could this be a hint that hawke was nobility? possibly finoa's son? loghain knew about him, maybe helped maric keep him safe. so he would be like cailan's half brother. could the witch shown in the concept art be fiona? she look mid-aged fiona shouodl be about 35-40 now?

Bioware already played the angle of Cailan having a half brother, I doubt they would do it again.

This would explain why Hawke needs to be human. If that's the case, then Maric sure liked to... ahem... sleep around.

How do you know who is portrayed there? They could be anyone.

ETA: I just realized that Fiona had a son, most likely Alistair!! Hawke can be female.

They do kind of look like Loghain and Cailan, but I don't recall Loghain ever having a crooked dagger like that or armor that is almost completely black. I think they are just drawn that way to contrast each other, I don't think it is meant to be Cailan or Loghain.

Also, Hawke may not be of noble birth, but he/she could become nobility in the Free Marches. Lot can happen in 10 years.

I thought Hawke was a refugee. Maybe you do become nobility, but I assume that would be after Cailan dies. Also, you lucky people are seeing screenshots that I cannot find on the internet, and I assume this was in the magazine. In order to get this magazine, I must leave my house and this is too much for me to do.
