** SPOILERS: DALISH PLOTLINE TWIST** Aspects of this post give away plot elements pertaining to the Dalish elves.




I just beat the portion of the campaign dealing with zathrian, witherfang and the dalish elves. I chose to aid the werewolves and started off the battle by moving my whole party out of zathrian's line of sight, and started killing off the trash he spawns in.

Right before I killed the last tree I got an achievement for killing witherfang. Apparently without any of my party members in line of sight of zathrian, he decided to go after the stunned wolf instead. However, that did not trigger a cutscene. I then killed zathrian, and went through the rest of the dialogue options as if witherfang had never died. In fact, she had returned to her female spirit form and was present for the talk afterwards. Then I returned to camp and told the elves of zathrian's betrayal but got the achievement as if I had fought and killed witherfang  and the werewolves instead of zathrian.

Not a big deal, I'm not a huge sucker for achievements, it just took me a second to figure out what happened and am wondering - Working as intended? Anyone else get this bug?

Maybe I just played too much WoW and got used to using line of sight to my advantage, I dunno.
