Hello, I discovered this game recently and Im kinda lost in this large immersive world. Anyway, I have a few questions to help in my adventures.

First I want to know if its possible to save my talent points for few lvl-ups untill I get the wanted spec or I get the lvl to use them on my desired talents.. or do I have to use those points as I gain them or else would be lost?

Also, we have just 3 party slots, should I chose carefuly my party in case those are the only companions that will lvl-up with me and become more powerfull as the game progress, or the others I left in the camp will scale to my lvl too, even if I dont play with them in party, allowing me for different party strategies , according to the foes I have to fight?

I try to play with all of my companions, for their quests, and Im afraid that if I do this, they will be weaker, as opposed to always playing with the same 3 party members, that would become more powerfull.

You don't lose them, so you can save them. However, in most cases, it's better to use them as soon as you get them. The reason for this is because a Level Up gives you +3 Attribute Points to spend, as well as the Talent Point. Spending those Attribute Points makes your character stronger. In addition, enemies are geared towards your level, so saving Level Ups can make things more difficult, as the enemies levels all assume that you've spent your Talent Points, so they are designed for a tougher character.

Every time the character you created levels up, any party members in camp have their levels set to be one level lower, and you can trigger a level up the next time you either bring them into the party, or go back to Party Camp. While the characters you take with you will be a little stronger than the characters back in camp, you won't have any issues if you decide to work with one party and leave the rest back in camp.

It works well to save up talent points if multiple better ones are available at a higher level. For instance, I save Alistair's level 11 and 13 points until level 14 so he can take 3 levels of Champion.

You can take this strategy even further if you have the Awakening expansion. Save your talent/spell/skill points and carry them forward to Awakening which has new skills/talents and specs.
