Do we know if the save import is going to be for Origins only or Awakening as well?

Do we know for sure there is even going to be a save import? I wouldn't expect there to be one really. That's Mass Effect's thing.
Unless of course they announced somewhere there would be one and I missed it.

I think that we know there will be an import so that your decisions can inform the background of the world. But it is not like Mass Effect, where you import a character to continue.

Even Baldur's Gate imported some choices, I don't know why people think it's a revelation since Mass Effect.

What games? I really can't think of any where choices you made get imported from one game to another. I can think of one (BG2) where your stats can be imported, but choices the character made have no effect on the game. I'm not talking about an expansion pack but an actual sequal, a new game. Even in most expansions all you are doing is importing a character sheet and nothimg more.
If they are going to allow save imports with the actual choices you made into DA2 then that's cool. Just not something I would have expected.
