     I have observed and watched for many weeks as people post in these forums about romances, only playing as humans, your character being voiced, and so on... These are dark times we live in and some would go as far as to storming the halls of BioWare to see to it that in game romances come down in a fiery blaze, burning everyone alive and leaving no survivors to tell of what happened! These people, these monstrosities, may just be the same people who live next door to you scheming and waiting for their chance to strike! WE CAN'T ALLOW IT!

     If we have to jeapordize everything to stop them from raining down hearts of fire and hatred... THEN WE WILL! They say since Mass Effect all BioWare games have been filled with cheesey romances and love scenes I have you know RIGHT NOW, that Jade Empire officially had romance at the end of the game right before you defended the temple of Dirge, home of the Water Dragon! Oh yeah, IT DID!

     These people say that it's always the same combination of shy girl and you chasing after her or cold hearted b*$&^ and trying to get her to warm up, BUT Zevran openly admitted to sex, even with other guys and said that he found you attractive pretty much! SO, I type here today to let you all know that the future of video game romances may be in danger because of evil people who do not know that the romance is a complete option! WE MUST NOT LET THEM CONTINUE WITH THEIR PLANS TO DESTROY THE WORLD AND ALL IT'S IN GAME FLAVORED ROMANCES!

     BEFORE THERE WAS ROMANCE, THERE WAS FANTASY ABOUT ROMANCE! BEFORE THERE WAS FANTASY ABOUT ROMANCE, THERE WAS FANTASY! BEFORE THERE WAS FANTASY, THERE WAS ANCIENT CARVINGS ON EGYPTIAN WALLS! BEFORE THERE WERE ANCIENT CARVINGS ON EGYPTIAN WALLS, THERE WAS ANIMALS MATING! BEFORE THERE WERE ANIMALS MATING, THERE WAS FRUIT! FRUIT IS SWEET!!! SO YOU SEE ROMANCE IS LIKE FRUIT, IT'S SWEET AND WILL NEVER GO AWAY SO DEAL WITH IT! FRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, no way would Bioware write yet another shy nerd fantasy/emotionally distant woman pair of female love interests. Also, this post in general is hilarious, although probably not in the way 1337DAWG intended it to be. Is there somewhere I can nominate a post for "most entertaining use of capital letters" award?

That LI combo was horrible. Two extremes with nothing in between.

@Herbert West
Did you really make an account just to revive bunch of old threads. Pathetic.

I like how nobody is getting the joke implied with Herbert West's name. I guess that's just a sign of the times.

Didn't feel the need to comment on it. I figure that people who know lovecraft will laugh silently to themselves.

Oh, I know. I'm less commenting on the name, more commenting on how sad it is that the joke is lost on so many.

Wow, I never knew I posted this. It was probably in response to all the complaining people were doing, when DA2 was announced, about romances. I can gladly say, it's still sweet like fruit.
