Let's see, it is set in the Free Marches. I am thinking it is like mostly ... free ... like up to take for whoever has the balls to do it. Bordering to Antiva and Tevinter. So there might be Tevinters and Antivians trying to get a hold on it. Hawke is preset human, but there are still Elves and Dwarves, and if Hawke gets to rule the Free Marches, then he's most likely going to have influence on the relationships between the races, laws etc. Also with the Chantry, will Hawke allow the Chant in his country, will he support it, will he suppress it?

Wardens exist all across Thedas, so chances are also in the Free Marches, and probably also Darkspawn. Dragons seem to play a major rule, and ... Flemeth? ... Some dragon lady mage (as Alistair would put it) at least, so much is for sure. Blood magic, Apostates, maybe even same fanatic templars. And Hawke may set the course of his land, decide who has his approval and who not. That's not entirely bad I'd say. Maybe we (as Hawke) get to found our own country, just the way we love it. I think character customisation is a small sacrifice if you think about the possibilites to 'customize' the history of a country or all of Thedas ...

While I am still mourning for my Warden (since I cannot continue his advantures) I can't help but anticipating this new experience

Agreed. The Free Marches seems like quite a lawless, frontier-type place. Lots of bandits, perhaps the opportunity to BE a bandit? Probably more apostate mages about as well. If quite a few Ferelden refugees have ended up in the various city states, there could be lots of simmering tension, plus political intrigue between the states. There could be lots of different types of things to do which would suit particular classes or builds. I play a lot of bards, a bardic Hawke would be very happy with a bit of intrigue.

Oooh, I'm getting carried away with speculation. Needless to say. I'm looking forward to this game.x

Hmm, note to self: used the phrase 'a lot' too much.
