Ok so i have preordered DA:O via steam,. the deluxe edition of course.

However when i look at my games tab it just says dragons age origins (Not yet released).  I thought it might say, dragons age origins deluxe but it doesn't.  I have double checked to make sure i bought deluxe version and i did.  Anyone else got that problem?

This is the first 'deluxe version' of anything i have bought via steam, but still i am a little worried.

You shouldnt have any problem if you are completely sure that you bought the deluxe edition. 99% of the times on steam .... what you buy is what you get.

You should contact Steam if you are worried, especially via their community board. I'm certain you will get a more complete and reliable answer there.

Speaking of Steam, does anyone know if they're going to have a pre-download option, and if so, how long before release they usually do it?

I remember several others reporting the same display issue, however it should be listed correctly under your account information.

no, they normally like for it to release at a certain time making everyone try and download at same time leading to their servers crashing.  It's how they roll.

Check your receipt. The Deluxe Edition isn't any different from the Regular Edition as far as the software itself is concerned. The DDE's extra content come in the form of access to the extra content DLC for free, a code usually sent via email. In the DDE from Steam's case, some of the extra stuff will come installed by default - you should still get an access code or default open access to the DLC from Bioware, so you'll get what you paid for regardless.

If you don't get all this, but your rceipt says you got the DDE, it's time to contact Steam.
