As I was going thorugh the mages tower to reclaim it from the abominations/blood mages I would randomly find notes from apprentice who was trying to cmplete a ritual.
I found what I assumed to be all of them but I still do not know what I am supposed to do? Reading it it mentions things such as cutting the chord, putting something in a bowl (bile) and such but I can not find such things in the tower.
Someone point me in teh right direction on how you do it?
Also earlier in the quest I came across a statue that was knocked down. In the back of it there was a vial, but as i picked it up the vial fractured and a Revenant came out. So I reloaded thinking there was something I was supposed to do in order to get the vial out without it breakingi but I finished the quest and found nothing about this, is it just simply a mimi-boss you should fight and that's it?
Help with mages tower apprentice notes (ritual, 2nd one).

The revenant (whom I couldn't kill with my party around ~8, ugh) just seems to be a random thing.
For the ritual, go to the common room which the three useable statues of Andraste, and click on them in the order mentioned in the ritual notes; if memory serves it was bowl, sword point up, sword point down. Then find the statue in the room with the stairs leading up, the blue crystals jutting from the ground and the disgusting fleshy gunk everywhere.

A challenging mini boss. Wait till you do mage armor quest in Brecilian Forest... alot worser.

Korva pretty much explained it. The combination is left - right - middle, if I recall correctly.
It's in the common halls or some such. Be warned though, you do NOT get a confirmation if you click on it. Clicking twice will shock you, as if you did it wrong. Simply click it in that order, if you did it right you shouldn't have been shocked once and it should look like nothing happened. Then the one room in the middle, on level 4.

Just went back for the revenant after completing the Broken Circle -- apparently a level for everyone made quite a difference because this time the bugger fell not exactly easily but he wasn't too bad anymore either. Defeating him seems to be the start of a sidequest about more of his type. Lovely.

Oddly enough, this one is not immune to cold, unlike the others are. Makes ist easy
