I have gotten leliana up to 100 aproval, I have down her personal quest, and still she only treats me as a friend, in my other playthrough I accidently got her to admit feelings for me before 100 aproval, so I guess I'm just curious as to what actually triggers her treating you as more than a friend?

i cant remember where/when/what it is but there is a specific thing she will say only once and i think you need to respond with the right answer in order for her to be able to love you

How many times have you visited camp? Did you get her to 100 prior to starting the romance? n Her romance involves asking about her bardic past... doing her personal quest, and that leads up to the climactic romance.



Even so, she's quite a bit more complex than Morrigan (Who, honestly, is my preference.)

Pretty sure it's during one of the Camp talks, you initiate a talk with her and she says her feelings then in her cute awkward way of doing it. Unsure if it's related, but it happened for me AFTER Wynne asked me about the two of "us".

Who? Only person I remember is Ohgren. I tried to romance the bejeesus out of him, giving him 100 year old bottles of booze, cleaning his bear, polishing his mace, etc. That rascal is stand offish, to be sure.

We've talked about her bardic past, I've even asked her what she plans to do after we end the blight, and agreed to travel with her. Perhaps it's just a bit to early in the game, I have only done the recruiting of the elves.

When you talked after you gave her the blue satin shoes, did you ask her if she was close to other women or did you say she was a treasured friend? That struck me as a romance-critical moment.

I'm lucking out with Leliana too. I was starting to think that she doesn't like elves.

I just romanced her with my elf, no problem. The main thing is prying about her bardic past. Once you've said all you can, travel, do stuff for a little bit, then return to camp. She should spill the beans so to speak, which starts you up for her personal quest, leading to the romance. you'll know what it is when you see it.

Lel is sorta kinda bugged. There's like 4 or 5 triggers to get some yum yum with her and if you raise your approval rating too quickly you can skip some of the triggers since some will -only- activate if your approval is low enough. Yeah, go figure. She'll only talk about being spies if she's at like 20 approval or so and thats one of the critical dialog trees you have to go down.



You can use various console commands to lower your approval rating, do the dialog you missed, then bring it back up and hope it works.



Basically I lowered her approval to 16, got 2 dialog trees I had previously missed, then raised her back up to 100. Still couldn't get her to spread her legs so I had to break up with her, then she finally started the dialog option to initiate her sidequest. Did the sidequest which got me back up to 100 again (lost like 25 from breaking up with her). Then just talked to her a bunch of times leaving/re-entering camp whenever she would stonewall me.



However if you screwed up somewhere along the line and friends zoned her you're screwed.



All in all I would say I've had an easier time picking up some chicks in real life. 8(

i first did morrigan, and after it ( still in same playthrough) i went with leliana and got her in my achievement pocket aswell now. But she is quite hard to play since she first of all asked me alot of questions about me and morrigan and what she means for me . After a few visits to the camp and 1 andraste flower she fe ltotally for me but still she didnt gave me the romance option... but then again after a few visits to the camp and no special gifts or what soever.. she started her conversation with me with a question and BANG campfire love.



so it seems that u just have to visist the camp and initiate talks with her a few times, instead of being able to push through with re-enacting the conversation over and over in the same camp moment.

p.s. thnik i can even get zevran into me.. this playthrough aswell.. but that feels kinda yuck to me ( a dwarf with a elf)

As I have said I have talked about her past, did her quest, told her she was a good person, got her the flower, got her the nug, she's 100 approval (friendly). I have tried to use the console to drop it some as per Zehn's suggestion, but for the life of me I can't figure out what I should specify for her, because anything I try just ends up subtracting approval from myself.

The one trigger I am aware about is the one where you can either say Your a good friend or do you like women. Make sure you pick do you like women, or else she will just stay friends with you. Basically make sure that whenever there is a "hot" line to pick it and constantly do saves to make sure you go down the right path for romance.

I can't imagine why her liking women would effect my male pc, but Ill keep an eye out for that trigger, i haven't gotten it yet, despite talking to her frequently at various points of approval, and having done her personal quest.

I didn't have any problem... maybe it's easier to get her when you're a girl? Lol... "do you like women?" Obvious lesbian question is obvious. Probably not so much when you're a dude.

So I'm guessing it's either one of two things, I got my approval up to fast and missed a trigger, or I just need to complete another main quest thing to activate another trigger.

100 approval should be (love) friendly is at 20-30 approval i think

I know it should be,but for some reason It's just friendly for me, wonder if it's some sort of bug.

Her personal quest will also only trigger as a random encounter, so if you are minimizing your travel distances you will need to make some long journeys to get it started.

I have already done her personal quest,as previous posts indicate, pretty much everything that involves leliana I have done except for getting her to admit feelings.

shes ad adore 100 with me, ive got a kiss and a song, but nothing more. I guess i need to talk to her some more.

I think if you are at 100 approval and it says 'friendly' then somewhere along the line you've gone off the romance path and onto a friendship one. As DarkLord mentioned, if the romance is active, then 100 influence should be 'Love'.



I'd guess that would be why you can't get any romance related dialogue.

I suppose that's possible, I'm just not quite sure where it would have happened, I chose the flirty options whenever available, and never said anything a long the lines of "lets just stay friends" though I guess I may have accidently picked something that may have implied that.
