I have a character that I like but want to tweak it a little without having to do a morph because no matter how much I have tried I stink at it.

Can I edit a chr file, in the toolset to fix skin color, eyelashes?

Also every time I do try to create a morph, the toolset crashes so basically the work I do is all for nothing.  Anyone will to help me do a morph?

I want LONG EYELASHES. *laugh* no bugged out eyes either.  Human Female Warrior

Someone was asking how to extend eyelashes over here:

but i dont know whether they decided to go ahead with it.

As for how to modify an existing head morph without using the morph editor - yes you can modify the exported head morph format MOR (not chr), which is used by the game. You must find the mor file you want to edit and drag it into the toolset. The only practical changes you can make here, though, are changing hair models, changing textures, changing parts, that kind of thing. That *does* include changing eyelashes - you should be able to do that without using the morph editor. But honestly, unless you're willing to go to the trouble outlined in the linked thread above, you wont see a whole heap of difference between the existing eyelash choices.

The mor files can be found in H:\\\\Program Files\\\\Dragon Age\\\\packages\\\\core\\\\data\\\\face.erf after opening it in the toolset. Once you've found the head you need, select it and extract it. Once extracted, make the changes by opening the MOR in the toolset, then save and throw your file into an override folder.

EDIT: if you're wanting to modify the player character, a slightly different approach must be taken to get the MOR file.
