If we would get to recruit a darkspawn in the future my Warden would let it join over his dead body. In DA2 when playing as Hawke, then it might be a different story. Still, not a fan of that happening.

I still don't think a darkspawn companion is a very good idea. Now if there was maybe a small band of awakened darkspawn that sort of did a few things to help your character out, I could see that being much more plausible.
