7 months ago I started my first playthrough as a warrior. Unfortunately I had to stop because the game just got too tedious and dull.
A few days ago I started another attempt to beat the game as a mage on "easy" but I just can't do it . It's too tedious.
I'd like to play through the game at least once.

Are there any mods that can:

1) power up the spells
2) decrease the spell cooldown
3) maybe alter the combat mechanics to make them a bit more dynamic (pretty vague I know)
4) do something similarly nifty...

recommendations greatly appreciated.
