True, we may not have that much information with what information we have been given is what is upsetting a lot of people. You notice in my first post that all those arguments were things that were CONFIRMED by Bioware, not speculation (Not for Mass Effect 3, but for Dragon Age 2). Yes, it might be true that I turn out to be wrong. Yes, this system could work and people will love the changes. It's just these design decisions made by Bioware make me and others who agree with me feel alienated.
But that shouldn't make people say "omg it's not dragon age why are they calling it a sequel".
it cries Fallout 3 all over again
When it was developed I joined its forums, I was one of the people who defended Bethesda that they can pull it off if they want that they can really make a true sequel to Fallout 1-2
In the end, when the game came out I was sad to see that they didn't manage it, they just made a game in the same world as Fallout 1-2 but not a true sequel, it was just too different from the predecessors for me to be considered a sequel, and I was never able to even play a bit further than reaching the village with the nuke.
Fallout 3 got my attention only because it was Bethesda making it. Elder Scrolls is my favorite thing ever and I hated the first Fallout games. So when Bethesda, the developer of my favorite thing ever made Fallout 3 I was interested and I tried it and liked it.
